My boyfriend and I walked past this place and didn't even notice it. However it was recommended by some locals and what a good recommendation!
We had steak and a prawn salad. Prompt and efficient service, the waitress didn't seem keen on our attempt at French but the waiter was a little more friendly.
The food was tasty, hot and well presented.
The desserts were delicious too despite not really knowing what we were ordering, chocolate something and pralin something, we couldn't go far wrong!
Mainly older french clientele in the restaurant but it was a good atmosphere. Reasonably priced food, we'd definitely go back.
Don't dismiss this place for an evening meal!

It took us a little while to find as the restaurant is tucked away on first floor level , so look up
A lovely dining room area , with not as many customers as the restaurant deserved
Excellent menu , well priced and a good wine list
The service was warm , friendly and attentive , not at all formal and fussy
Only possible negative comment was that my main course was slightly underseasoned but the starter was fantastic
It was our first visit but wont be our last

Restaurant Le Jardin in the heart of Le Touquet is one of the prettiest restaurants you will find anywhere. With verdant Gardens all around in the warm months and a log fire to warm you in the chilly ones, Le Jardin is a long-time local favourite. The white-linened tables, charming Terrace, rosy upholstered Seating, light walls, pale wooden floors, and multitudes of mirrors create an impressive setting for business meals and romantic duos. There is a choice of menus with traditional French dishes like salade nicoise, fresh oysters and seafood, tournedos of beef a la bordelaise, as well as more global creations like rack of lamb oriental style. The cheeses are particularly renowned, as is the excellent service.
This is the second time we have visited this restaurant, the first for a 60th birthday was fantastic so we thought we would visit again to see if it lived up to its expectations. Easy to reach we walked along to this restaurant on a lovely July evening and were sat in the conservatory. Excellent wine menu and we chose a bottled of chilled Chinon. We skipped a starter as we wanted to save ourselves for the main event of rib of beef with béarnaise for two which was absolutely delicious. Followed by a chocolate fondant with rum banana and ice cream it was a meal that we are still thinking about several weeks later! Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant great service, great food, great wine, great evening.

I cannot describe how wonderful this restaurant is. From the attentive service to the sublime food and from the ambience to the gorgeous wine list. A truly lovely experience and one I fully intend to repeat several times in the near future.

We were away on a golf weekend and found this little gem on our second night in Le Touquet. The food was absolutely superb, excellent variety with plenty of choice of fish, meat etc.
All very well priced restaurant, superb service.
We returned the following night, for a second go.

Very charming atmosphere in a small restaurant that really delivered on all fronts. Imaginative, aesthetic and tasty food, delivered with style and quality. Nice wines complemented the set menu made for a great evening out Highly recommended

This restaurant is situated at the southern end of the Promenade so is further away from the centre of town than most and quieter than most with easy parking.
It is quite small and booking is recommended.
Reception was warm and staff efficient and friendly with good English.
Good value set menus and a la carte. The emphasis is on fish but a lamb dish was available.
We had a swordfish starter and a main of prawns and monkfish casserole both of which were excellent.
Good wine list too.
A very pleasant evening.

Lovely little restaurant/wine shop with great ambiance. The menu is very small, only 5 or 6 daily specials made from local seasonal produce, quality over quantity which is always a good thing. The food itself was amazing; good sized portions, top quality & absolutely delicious! The staff were polite & attentive & the service efficient.

The Westminster Hotel has 2 restaurants, Le Pavillion, Michelin starred and Les Cimaises, a more informal brasserie.
We've eaten in the brasserie in the past and really enjoyed it, so we were slightly concerned about the varied reviews.
The varying reviews are probably a reflection of differing expectations.
We went for Sunday lunch as a party of 6 and would strongly recommend making a reservation.
Les Cimaises menu is not a "normal" brasserie style menu - no moule or steak frite - and for us (and many customers) the Buffet Gourmands are the USP.
We all had the Aquarelle Buffet at €33 per person which is Buffet d'Entrees and Buffet de Desserts.
We would never normally go anywhere for a "buffet" - our idea of a nightmare!
The Buffet d'Entrees at Les Cimaises is different - high quality and extensive, with a wide selection of seafood including oysters, languostine, crab and cured salmon (dependant on day) plus meats and salads.
The Buffet de Desserts is similary extensive with a wide selection of small individual desserts where you can select a few to try. Something to suit everyone.
This is not a cheap, pile it high, eat as much as you like buffet.
If that is what you want look elsewhere.
Service is professional and attentive and the ambience is reasonably sophisticated (like the rest of the Westminster).
There were a broad range of customers of all ages (including famillies with well behaved children).
Hopefully the above review will help people understand what to expect - the menu is available on the hotel website.
We had an excellent lunch and will return.
