Went back again to the Napoli after some months of absence in Guadeloupe and did enjoy the same great experience. Friendly and professional staffs, excellent ‘cuisine’ reasonably priced. Like always a great experience ! One of my favorite place in this island.

I am the farthest thing from a foodie there can be but Zoo Rock Cafe made me understand why people come back from vacation talking about the food they tried! I had read about the Brochette beforehand and it was 1000 times better than I even imagined! Portions are huge, prices are reasonable and staff was just wonderful. We had the house special for two and ended up bringing home 4 boxes of food including our untouched desserts! Minimal english speaking, as is most of the island, but it did not affect the service a bit. Atmosphere is beauty, breezy and you'd feel just as comfortable in shorts and a shirt as you would dress wear. Located right at the marina so a walk short walk after wards for fro-yo or cocktails on the water was just the cherry on top of the best meal I had on the island!

Very nice , newly renovated place which is a marina restaurant right next to the Guadeloupe aquarium. Food was cooked to taste with a mix of European and local influence. A little bit on the pricey side but the view and overall vibe are worth it.
For dessert, try the Cafe Gourmand that offers a bite size selection of several of their desserts.

We were welcomed very kindly. It is a nice place to enjoy your diner. But €90 for two aperatives, two meals and a bottle of wine is way overpriced! Especially in a country like Guadeloupe. And the food was nothing special. But not only going out for diner is expansive here. Also daily groceries are far more expansive as in the Netherlands.

Incredible fresh food, excellent service, child friendly - all the makings of a fantastic restaurant! We tried to go on Friday night (they were fully booked), as there were again on both Saturday and Sunday nights - luckily we had a reservation this time - highly recommend you book the day before. As per the other reviews, expect prices closer to a good meal in Paris, London or New York - but definitely worth it!!!

Japanese restaurant with japanese Chief. Traditional and progressive gastronomy, raw and cooked meals, fresh fish and fresh meat, signature-cocktails, fine wine list. "Japanese to go" available, air conditioning, parking. Open tuesday to friday for lunch and diner, saturday for diner, sunday for diner.
Technically, I love Japanese food, but it's always pretty much the same thing wherever you go and everything tastes the same - sometimes you can't even tell whether you have shrimp or salmon in your maki! But at Thimy's, everything is fresh, delicious, original, a...MoreDear Lauren E, Thanks a lot for your appreciation. We love serving quality food and satisfy our clients. See you !

From sorbet to ice cream, the quality stay the same. Perfect consistency, great flavors, very friendly. Make sure you come as soon as you land so you'll have time to come back. True gem.

I was spending one night at Creole Beach Hotel. At sunset I crossed the large garden listening to the tropical night sounds to reach the Zawag. I had dinner with colleagues by the ocean.
The restaurant in a wood setting is completely embedded in the rocks. With the waves crashing in the middle of the dining room. Very impressive indeed.
The Zawag proposes Creole cuisine. After a Planter’s Punch I ate sea bream carpaccio with passion fruit sauce as a starter. I chose my lobster in the fishpond. And took fresh fruits for dessert. All tasty, delicate and kindly served.

I like my food fresh and spicy and this place gave me both. I got the impression that it's a small family run business, which added to the authenticity.
On both occasions I was seated quickly and helped with the menu by an English speaking family member. Mains are around 15 euros and drinks are super cheap, 3 euros for the local rum punch ... so strong, that I never made it to a second.
The food was my first experience of Senegalese, and the first dish I tired was red snapper, delicately spiced and cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The dish just melted in my mouth. Ask for the hot sauce to accompany it .. but be warned, you only need a tiny tiny bit of it.
The following evening I returned. I really wanted to order the same dish again, but thought it best not to form habits so quickly - so I ordered a traditional chicken dish made with a ground nut sauce. Portions are big, and at first glance I thought "I'm never going to finish this", but after tasting I decided that I was not leaving anything on the plate.
Service is slow, and the vibe is more cafe style than a restaurant (all Seating is alfresco under a covered terrace) - so if you're in a rush it probably isn't the place for you .. which is true for the Caribbean period!
When you're ready to leave you walk into the restaurant and pay at the desk. I was able to pay with a credit card on both occasions, and on both occasions my bill (manually added up by calculator by the owner) was correct. All of the prices are marked on the place mat / menu - so you can keep a tally on what you owe.

Keep eye in yr bill, I think they see tourist coming and and give you the most expensive bottled water, when every one else has the generic brand. Not a big deal but no one likes to be taken advantage of. Food was very good, service was attentive. Don't order a martini, they don't know how to make them. Good evening over all.
