We have known La Croix D'or for many years now and have seen it change hands several times with limited success. It has recently come under new ownership once again and fortunately this time not to its detriment. The restaurant is quite large and tastefully adorned with a variety of pictures/paintings and the tables nicely spaced. We ate here on a Saturday night and although not overly busy, early days I think, were well impressed with the quality of food and exceptionally good value for money. Three courses for 21€ and a carafe of excellent house wine for 8€. The selection on the menu was very good and we went for the Langoustine Salad starter followed by the Lamb Shank which was enormous and very tender. Fresh vegetables accompanied. Thoroughly enjoyed the food ! The owner spoke a little English if you needed and was very friendly and chatty. We could not fault the service. The Croix D'or also has a "Plat de Jour" everyday if you would like a midday special. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

What a superb B & B this is. Huge room, really well decorated and very, very comfortable. Tea and coffee making in the room was great and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Excellent value, great communications and welcoming hosts. Will return.

This was a disappointing Routier. It was very quiet on the evening we visited and although the patrons were friendly and welcoming the choices and quality of the food was very disappointing.Sadly most of what was offered was of the instant variety, the sort of food that looked as if it had come straight from the shelves of a supermarket.

The hosts were probably the most kind and friendly I have come across and made me and my friends feel very welcome! The rooms were very clean and and were a good size! I would definitely recommend staying here and hope I can stay again myself. There is not one thing I could say needed improving.
