The hotel de plage, opened all the year, situated at only 40m of the 8km long fine sandy beach, offers you it's 30 confortable rooms, sea view, bathroom and shower, wc, tv set, breakfast buffet, free acces wifi, air-co. german and english spoken.
The hotel is by the sea and all rooms you can see the long strech of the beach. The rooms offer basic comfort (small bed, nice sheets but average pillows) and the area has free parking. Great for 1 night or 2 but it the rooms do not have minibar and the breakfast is pricey.

Having travelled for some 13 hours we had to endure a further 30 minutes sitting outside the hotel, to await reception to open, even the bar was closed and front door locked. When we did get to check in, we were not welcomed at all, just handed a piece of paper with the outstanding balance for our stay and asked to settle it there and then. We refused and said we would like to look at the room first, Our second floor room, along a depressing and somewhat smelly corridor which need automatic lights even in mid afternoon, was a small well furnished room. The bathroom was only 2/3M wide and had a toilet, wash-hand basin and great shower all shoehorned into it. The drawbacks were a sliding door to bathroom, which was noisy, little room alongside the bed, no drawers anywhere, and an ill closing shower door resulting in a constant wet floor in the bathroom. A combination of the small room, the very poor welcome, led us to cutting short our two week stay, and we informed her of such, she said that our deposit covered 6 nights and there was €2 difference, which was demanded on our check out. It was at this time that we were informed that the Restaurant was closed. Overall, a depressing stays, with a cold money hungry manager, who just wanted the season to end. Not to be recommended,

This property is in a great location and our room overlooked the beach, the Mediterranean and the town square. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. Like a lot of hotels in small towns, this one was fairly basic but what it lacked in facilities it made up for with rustic charm. The Wi-Fi was great downstairs but would not work in the room. The breakfasts were very nice in the French traditional way and we enjoyed them. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a very relaxing time.

RELAX'OTEL & SPA has 41 rooms, a SPA, a restaurant "La Perle Bleue", a terrace, two swimming pools, and 2 conference rooms.
Stayed for 1 week. Location - good, about 5 mins from beach, 10 mins from Le Grand plage area, 15 to La Lydia area. Easy, pleasant walks. Hotel has free wi-fi, TV only has French channels, swimming pool, can eat breakfast on the terrace. Receptionists speak little English - try your French, you'll get by. Reception closes at 7pm but you have a code to get back in. Room (we had room 228) was basic but cleaned every day. Large bathroom with bath and shower. No balcony where you can sit out but had a Juliette balcony. People below us had a balcony but looked like the walls stopped any view. Plenty of free parking available. There's a restaurant but we didn't eat there as we went out every evening. There's no kettle in the room and no-where you can buy water so make sure you get some when you are out and about. I did try to buy a drink at abount 12.30pm but was told I had to wait till 3pm before I could buy one. There is also a spa attached to the hotel though never saw anyone in it. There are money off vouchers in the reception for local attractions. All in all, pretty standard but we had no issues. 1 tip - you need to put RUE Thalassas in your sat nav or you won't find it. Our booking said it was on Avenue de Thalassas and the sat nav said it didn't exist.

we were installed in the new district, with a view of the main road but not disturbing in reality. We liked the adult pool (much quieter than the main pool), the camp is clean and well equipped, the bungalow is top notch, fully furnished with compulsory air conditioning. But unfortunately, no possibility to do a classic barbecue (fire precaution). The activities offered within the camp are enough to fill the non-visit's days of non-visit and we quite had appreciate the evening shows. It is quite a windy area, welcome when walking around with temperature over 30 degrees, but less when you are on the beach, the flying sand can be disturbing. And about the left-only pass reader, ditto for car parks and motorway tolls, we should keep in mind that this is not the UK (I'm not sure all of our premises are double equipped for continental travelers?)

The pool is nice, it is close to the beach and the employees are nice. But there is a night club behind this hotel in the wooded area behind it that plays music so loud the whole night that it is impossible to sleep.

Quiet and shady, between Mediterranean and marine lake, close to the Pyrenees and Spain, 3km from Barcarès and 2km from the sandy beach. family friendly camping 163 pitches on a 3 ha pine forest. Accommodation wooden chalets or mobile homes of quality, well arranged and equipped that have mostly a covered terrace. Pitches are wooded and shaded on sandy terrain and flat, located away from the pool area / animations. day and evening entertainment in July and August, mini club, clubs children / teens, snack, shop, bar, bread deposit / newspapers, bicycle rental and wifi. aquatic complex with heated pool, waterslide, whirlpool, wading pool and many other services (tennis, playground, sports ground ...).
Just returned from 3 nights at this campsite. It's a nice camp site, think it's more geared up to staying in the bungalows as we stayed in our own van and I found the pitches a bit nothing. I like to have more privacy and there were no hedges separating the bungalows and our pitch. I felt sorry for the people in the bungalow next to us as we had to park our van so close to them! Facilities are good enough and the pool was fantastic. They also have a really nice park for the kids to play in. The staff were very nice in reception and bar/ restaurant.

WARNING! Don't let this happen to you! We were alerted a week before our arrival that a group of students would be on site and have exclusive rights to one of the pool areas and restaurant. We thought this wouldn't be a problem as the Village appeared to have other facilities we could use. However, upon arrival we realised that at least three quarters of the Pitches normally housing Motorhomes and Caravans had been taken over by a huge number of single and double occupancy tents! The area surrounding our allocated Pitch looked more like the aftermath of a Music Festival tent field littered with empty alcohol bottles and cans, clothes, rubbish, loud music, sick on paths/roads and even sleeping youths! And this was at 4 o'clock in the afternoon! We requested an alternative Pitch but were informed at Reception the site was full. At this point, we requested a full refund as we felt the Village had misinformed us of the scale of the group on site. We advised that we felt that we and our property were not safe. This was flatly refused.
