Reviewed By kelhim1708Beruflich musste ich im März nach Lauterbach und habe im Golfpark Hotel übernachtet. Ich kann das Haus nur empfehlen. Nettes Personal und saubere, große Zimmer. Obwohl ich wegen der Corona-Pandemie der einzige Gast war, habe ich ein riesiges und fantastisches Frühstück bekommen. Ich hoffe, dass Corona irgendwann vorbei ist, denn dann würde ich gerne noch mal nach Lauterbach fahren und einige Tage in diesem Haus verbringen.

For four generations, the Schubert family has had a well-established team of longtime and cordial employees in the host's thoughts. Going beyond the borders of the state of Hessen, you can admire the creative and Bib Gourmand cuisine of the kitchen chef Stefan Schubert. In the “schuberts” restaurant you can enjoy these refined culinary delights to selected wines from the most exquisite cultivation areas. Lauterbach is surrounded by the largest extinct volcano range in Europe - the Vogelsberg - and is thus the ideal starting point for activities in nature. The hotel has 36 guest rooms, divided into 10 comfort rooms, 6 romantic country house rooms and 5 deluxe double rooms, 12 single rooms and 3 comfortable themed rooms (Zen, roses, Tuscany). The rooms are decorated with great attention to detail and each individually designed. Shower / bath / WC, cable TV, telephone, free WLAN and mini bar are standard in every room. The hotel is open all year.
Nice Hotel but Come On, No Fan?
Reviewed By Frequent_TravelerNice hotel, great rooms and an excellent restaurant. Superior breakfast. What’s missing? Even the minimum level of comfort when it’s a heat wave. I was shocked that they don’t even provide a fan in each room. It was in the 90s approaching 100 and someone needs to please explain to me why a fan is considered not an essential part of the room amenities in a 4-star “Romantik” Hotel? A fan costs 35 Euro. It lasts for at lest two years. I just am confused as to why hotels don’t provide this when the present day and the future points to HOT as the usual condition from June through August. Thank goodness I travel with my own fans! Others won’t have that luxury.

Like in a time capsule
Reviewed By Christian1790Reservation made pretty simple on the phone, no credit card needed. Staff is very attentive, however if you’re an international guest you might run into translation lapses. If you’re accustomed to modern hotel room equipment. . . well, it’s a little bit old fashioned and worn out, but definitely clean. Breakfast is pretty good and you get your breakfast egg perfectly prepared as you wish - scrambled or sunny side up or simply cooked, always good. You might consider having dinner there. Awesome and freshly prepared! Add another Hazelnut Schnapps for desert and you’re more than happy. Really good time and value for the money. P.S. Check out the salt cave across the street - really relaxing and good against a cold.

sehr gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit und super Essen
Reviewed By 896manfredgEs sind sehr schöne Zimmer, dass Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, geht auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Die Lage ist traumhaft am Stadtrand und in Waldnähe. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielseitig, auch für Vegetarier geeignet.
