We didn't expect to get such outstanding burgers in Lutry of all places. The buns were just right and the patties were succulent and flavorful. The fries were also perfect.Service was quick and the lady who served us was very friendly despite the language barrier. What was also nice to see was the locals sitting around the small bar and schmoozing away.We ended the meal with coffee and a brownie and those were great too.Deserves it's number 1 ranking. We will surely be coming here often.

If you want a quiet drink and something to eat this is not the place to go. It is always busy. For me it is normally the chicken goujons, or a burger. If you are looking to watch sport, if it is a popular event then it will be on here. Great atmosphere, superb terrace over looking the square.

A local friend recommended this place, and we were not disappointed. We got a starter, the squidink pasta, a salad (Savannah) and two desserts. Everything was quite good. Although we didn't speak any French, the staff were super help and accommodating. Even though the restaurant was completely filled up, the service was attentive and efficient. We wish we could stay for the concert. If you like sweet cocktails, zombie is delicious!

In the center of Lausanne, with one of the best views on the Geneva lake, the Brasserie de Montbenon offers a traditional, but contemporary cuisine, using quality local products. Apart from food and (a nice range of) drinks, the "B.M." also proposes event
This place is in a park (Montbenon Esplanade) and inside a historical building that holds cultural activities. It overlooks the park and lake and has outside seating. It was quite full at lunch time but they manage to seat the two of us even though we did not have a reservation. We ordered from the lunch manu (duck and a risoto) and it was all excellent. The service was nice, but very busy with the full house. The crowd included local business people, tourists, and apparently local friends meeting for lunch. I was very happy with my choice of restaurant and will go back when I return to Lausanne.

Designed in a typical Parisian style, Brasserie Grand-Chêne at Lausanne Palace has captured the charm of the past. Green leather benches, polished parquet flooring, brass ornaments and a solid wooden staircase give it a pleasantly classic and somewhat the
We stayed in our fantastic 5 star hotel, Lausanne Palace,Because of rainy weather we elected to stay and dine at the only restaurant open on a Sunday night.Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the food and service. Our meals were served much later than other diners. All meals were just average. In fact we enjoyed our cheese fondue at a local restaurant a night earlier much more. I would recommend picking a different restaurant if you are in Lausanne Switzerland!Marc C
