Eating where locals recommend blesses us in many ways. Our meals of chicken enchiladas and chicken fajitas were served hot and fresh. The red sauce on my enchiladas was wonderful and my lips recovered soon. Leslie beautiful smile and prompt service was appreciated. The food and service are worth leaving the freeway for.

Dinner service has just become available and decided to try it. Not disappointed. Great service, wonderful outdoor patio and very good food. It wasn't very busy and we were able to take our time talking and having delicious dinners. Entrees ordered included trout almondine, leg of lamb and chicken scaloppini. Entrees come with a choice of sauce and side. Shared the liege brulee for dessert. Nice wine selection.

Really enjoyed having lunch at this downtown Las Cruces restaurant! We were there around the height of the lunch rush but we were seated right away and had quick, courteous service. I thought I'd go with the basic pizza and it was great! I think this is the true test of a pizza place, if they can make a good basic tomato and cheese pizza. I wasn't disappointed! Hubby had one of their paninis and said it was excellent. We also got a loaf of bread to go -- yummy!
One thing we both enjoyed was their bread/garlic "butter" appetizer you get right after you are seated. Our server told us it was actually just ground garlic with olive oil; no butter involved. Yummy but super garlic breath!
I'd definitely go back to Zeffiro's!

It seems I always order huevos ranchero green. 2 eggs over easy. Creamy green chili sauce. Whole ranchero beans on the side.
My daughter orders enchilada green with chicken senior also. Plenty to eat.
Fajitas are large portions. They are excellent, beef, chicken or pork. You can mix them. Our favorite STOP once a week.

Both visits outstanding. My food was prepared by the same chef (Robert) both times. Food and service were both top notch. Both times I had a "chef's choice" that offered rolls, sushi Nigri, and sashimi, with an additional roll in October 2017. Wait time on items was well spaced out, and the food was some of the best offering of Japanese cuisine I've had anywhere.

Ate here on a recommendation from friends who were here last year. We were not disappointed. Out door seating was available so we sat outside. Great wood fired pizza and a small selection of beers. Many of their own wines. Did not try but our friends said the wines were good. Excellent gilato as well. Highly recommend you try this place. We all most went back a second time but found other places we wanted to try. Great service too.
