This is the best wilderness cafe in the area and all because of its location in the middle of fairytale scenery. To access it by cross country skis you need to be well prepared to climb some uphills and semi ruogh terrain. But its worth the sweat cause the scenery you experience on the way, you will not find elsewhere!It's about 9-10 km away from Ãkäslompolo village. After skiing this distance enjoi some hot Lapland berry drink or coffe and tasty bun.On the way back take detour no the top of Kukas montain and enjoy magnificent landscapes of Finnish lapland pearl.WARNING do the mountain visti only in good wheater, ohtervise it can be dangerous!There is drinks, quick snacks and fireplace in the main building, outside toilet and cottege for barbeque sausage etc.Opening hours is mainly from 10.00 to 16.00

Diese Kota war schon vor über 100 Jahren von den Flössern benutzt worden. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber gemütlich. Geheizt wird mit einem Holzofen. Es gibt feine heisse Beerensäfte ( alle probieren) und leckere Kuchen und Quiches. Alles Homemade.
