A lounge for the skiers at the root of the front slope in Levi is open from morning until late night. Kota pampers the visitors as a café, after ski bar as well as an wine- or a cocktail parlour. And in the night life of Levi it's the place to be for thos
We popped in to warm up with a cuppa but the atmosphere was so lovely and the music choice was just my cup of tea so we ended up having a few gins and a snack. The prices were relatively cheap for the area and there was an excellent selection. We tired to bring the rest of the family back there on our last day but unfortunately they were closed for staff training. I suppose it's an excuse to go back to Levi again!

I think it's a good place to have lunch or meet with friends for tea or coffee. You can find some soup there, salad bar, some desserts and snacks. I can't say that they serve the best desserts in Kittilä, but food is tasty. Stuff is always very friendly and atmosphere is welcoming. Interior is quite different and new for Kittilä, it's a good city cafe type that Kittilä certainly lacks. Prices are average.

We were looking for a place to have lunch at Kittilä and found Herkkutupa right on the main street. Their lunch cost less than 8 euros and consisted of soup and a versatile salad buffet, topped with coffee/tea and dessert. I was happily surprised that they let you to choose a piece of quiche instead of soup, which broadens the options (good especially for vegetarians). Pleasant atmosphere and good value for money for those looking for a balanced, healthy lunch.
