My boyfriend and I ate here after learning they make pizza and pasta. The staff was immediately rude, laughing at us and walking away when my boyfriend was talking to them in Laos. They stood close to our table and stared at us the entire time we ate, and when we attempted to talk to them (in Lao) they would roll their eyes and walk away. Finally my boyfriend said (in Lao) "You dont speak Lao? Do you speak any language?" This made them angry enough that they backed off. They were about 6 young girls, probably teenagers. The food was a welcome change from the Asian cusine. The eggplant pasta was very good. The marinara sauce was light, and the pasta fresh. The pizza was also good, but not to be compared to pizza in the US. The pepperoni was actually hard salami and the sauce had a bit of a bbq sauce taste to it. We enjoyed it, though it is different than typical western pizza. We also got a cesar salad. The vegetables were very fresh, though the croutons were simply sliced toast and the dressing is simply red vinegar. We returned the next day and ordered two pizzas to go. The staff was still rude. The cheese pizza is tasty, with basil and a sweet sauce. Again, it is different than typical western pizza, but good nonetheless. The pizzas were about $6 each, and they were medium sized. There are other restaurants nearby that serve pasta and burgers (sabidee restaurant just down the road). The owner there was very friendly and his food looked good. If you are not set on eating pizza, and prefer a friendly atmosphere, I suggest trying a different restaurant.
Paksong cafe' Place for rest We hope customer will enjoy and happy, when you choose to come and enjoy with us and free WiFi. Thank you.
We stopped here for coffees and food. Very surprising place: tasteful interior that could have been of a coffee shop in NYC (with some imagination...). The service was extremely friendly and the food really good, surprisingly so because there really aren't many options out here. Pizzas are excellent and Lao or Thai dishes as well. Clean toilets. Sorry for the lame pictures of my car on the parking lot and my daughter taking a picture of me.
...for the monkey leashed to a tree outside of the restaurant. The coffee is very good, the setting is very nice, it's a green place just next to the road, but you don't actually hear a lot of it. Nice wooden tables and the really good coffee would make it a perfect stop just outside of Pakse. If it weren't for the monkey. If they stop this, five stars!

I was craving good chocolate and cakes after more than 3 months in Asia... Unfortunately, their chocolate brownies and macarons were quite terrible, compared to bakeries in my home country, Belgium. Macarons were sooo dry... We didn't finish it all.

It is a nice and warm cafe of the Korean boss. There is a rare coffee machine in Dondet, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee and have a variety of fresh fruit drinks. This cafe has good songs and good atmosphere. You can also enjoy fast food and Korean food,
The restaurant is very beautiful and made entirely from Bamboo, and has comfortable spots to sit. The food is absolutely delicious, with homemade Kimchi and an always smiling boss. He even told me how to do his Kimchi myself, and is in general very friendly and helpful. As dessert his chocolate shakes!Best meal!!

I came here with high hopes after reading the reviews but was very let down. The drinks were a very reasonable price, and the coffee machines looked great.I ordered my standard long black and I the half full cup of coffee I received was very watery and next to no Crema. The ambience of the place wasn't too nice, all the furniture was old. The staff were semi-friendly.I didn't eat so cannot comment on the food but the menu was quite extensive. If you like coffee you're much better off seeking another cafe like Delta.
