The northwest market town of Sapa is colorful and charming, providing the perfect oasis in the midst of a strenuous mountain trek or rice-paddy tour. The Gothic stone church at the center of town is a bull’s-eye in the center of shops and stalls, serving as a reminder of the town’s French missionary influence. Dine on Vietnamese or European-inspired cuisine downtown, and don’t miss the Saturday night "love market," one of the most potent—and strictest—single’s nights imaginable.
Things to do in Sapa
Went here because of the good reviews and friendly staff outside the resturant. However food was not great. Chewy meat and not much flavour. I got beef sauted with local vegetables but it only came with spinach, my partners meal had more vegetable variation than mine! Meals were relatively expensive too 110 VND for beef and vegetables. Staff were not friendly, all just sitting around on their phones. I asked one man for the bill and he just looked away back to his phone and barked an order for someone else to go and get the bill. Not impressed!
Bi Bi Express is the perfect corner for a cup of coffee, milk tea, other special drinks. Pastry, pizza, fastfood and icecream are served all day. Avaiable for takeaway and order online.
Thé pomme cannelle, milkshake banane, rhénane gingembre et pâtisseries délicieuse!! Les serveuses sont adorables!! Nous y retournerons en allant visiter le Vietnam!!

Spring rolls!!! Must eat! This is the only restaurant I went there twice for my meals. 4D3N trip, I regretted only ate twice of their spring rolls that cook with soul. Chicken spring rolls is extremely highly recommended! The skin is so thin like a piece of tissue and yet you can still taste its crunchiness on the outer! Big portion they serve, two of us can have 3 pieces each! I was so happy to be able to eat "world class" spring rolls here in Sapa. I'm a Malaysian and never tasted such a good Asian spring rolls before, I swear to the sun!It is so awesome that I would like to list down the rough guess of ingredients of this spring roll here: Glass noodle looking wrapMince Glass noodleMince Carrot Mince CorianderMince OnionMince Black fungusMince GarlicMince Spring onionMince TomatoesMince EggMince Lemon grass Prawn/chicken(highly rec)/porkSweet sour sauce to dip withP/s: all above are only what I have tasted, I believe the original recipe will forever remain a secret. ;)Other than me over-reacted on the spring rolls, chicken pho is also good, taste like home cook, passionate soup base cook with heart. ;)Lastly, my authentic, fragrant butter fried coffee bean Vietnamese drip coffee. I love it so much until i ask the staff there what is the coffee brand they bought? Boss told me chon coffee but boss lied! (Kidding, well I asked the wrong guy apparently). I checked second time with his staff, he shown me the right one. I have shared in the photos below. I've bought a few packs back to Singapore and Malaysia for my friends and family, I've tried making it with the Vietnam coffee brewer, they taste exactly good as the one they made for me. I love this restaurant so so much. Please people, go try it! I'm have no relations with the owner, not a share holder and no commission. I'm just gratefully sharing what is really awesome here.Good job Sapa Memories! Thanks for creating good memories for me during my trip here. Will back here again! Msg me If you have further questions!

Panoramic mountain view in town, reasonable price, good service, quite area. Breakfast - Lunch - Dine YOU MUST COME.
This place has a breathtaking view of Hoang Lien mountain range. Iâm considered myself as one of their regular guest as Iâm keep coming here for a lot of times since 2017. This place made a massive renovation. Now itâs look pretty amazing. The decorations and furniture are new. I will definitely keep coming back here.

Right next to the Cat Cat waterfall overlooking the bridge and the water mills, this a great place to stop for a bit, coffee or beer. We were caught in a downpour so ducked in to get out of the rain. Had a nice fish, sticky rice and fried vegetable rolls. All very tasty and well presented. When we left even though it wasnât raining the owner gave us a couple of rain panchos saying, âI donât want you to get wet againâ. Cat Cat is a great place to visit and this little cafe adds to the magic. Thank you so much for came to my home! Because the rained... so we can severed you and your honey!Hopefully weather will be better on your trip! One day soon if you return Sapa, please come back my restaurant!we promise will be some food and drink much better!Again! We have say thank you so much and have good trip!Let's bring Vietnam back home!

If you are looking for a cozy restaurant in Sapa, Chicago Pizza is a must. It is super cozy plus the price is reasonable for the very sumptuous food that they are serving. We've tried this place twice and we were very satisfied with the food and the service as the owner is also friendly. PS. They have a good music too

There are Cong cafes all over northern and central Vietnam and they are a very pleasant place to be. Theyâve gone for the minimalist bare floors, exposed brick sort of look favoured by hipsters the world over and they also have accompanying merchandise (the t-shirts are very cool and I wish Iâd bought one) and packs of local coffee. Most have a buy two get the third free deal on beers at certain times and the idea is that you pay upfront at the desk before taking your little numbered flag and finding a seat. Good size chairs instead of the often tiny low things which my old bones struggle with , pleasant young staff.
The food is very decent, especially at those prices, and I have been a few times. I particularly like their chicken curry in coconut and the fried spring rolls. Both come as huge portions. They would get a 5-star rating from me if it wasn't for the lackluster service. On one visit I waited for one hour for my meal (I was the only guest) and on the most recent visit none of the tables had been cleared and we sat among dirty plates and rubbish on the floor; not the most romantic of settings.

Tried few Vietnamese dishes and all was very good. I definitively recommend the BBQ duck that comes served on a hot plancha. Restaurant is located 10 min walk from Sapa center but it is worth going, very peacefull environment and view of the mountain. Only few tables inside the restaurant so better book if you are coming with a big group
