Ahhh, Lanzarote: The Canary Island paradise where you can ride a camel into the sunset and then dine inside a candlelit cave. The rock formations of Los Hervideros will take your breath away, as will the views from the Mirador del Rio lookout point. Legend has it that locals would hide from pirates in the underground caverns of Cueva de los Verdes, which are now open to curious visitors. Above ground the Jardin de Cactus will teach you all about the spiny desert plants.

The totally renovated 4* Barceló Teguise Beach for adults only offers an elegant style with spectacular views. The rooms include a new concept, the B-Room, fully equipped and inspired by traditional local architecture. Most of the rooms have whirlpool baths either indoors or on the terrace. The hotel has revised its whole cuisine and offers a modern, cutting-edge style in all its bars. In addition, several activities and new services for adult guests have been added, including a superb U-Spa, 2 Infinity swimming pools, a gym and other facilities.
The hospitality in this hotel is top notch. Due to a delayed departure we missed our connection. After getting rerouted we arrived around 1:30am without our luggage. We had not eaten anything since early afternoon. We were starving. The check in took 1 minute. We were then offered a container of juice, some bananas and a bowl of nuts to hold us over until breakfast. We were extremely thankful. The room was modern with a comfortable king size bed. We also had an amazing ocean view which we took advantage of by sitting in the balcony in the evenings. Any requests made to the front desk were immediately taken care of. All staff were friendly and polite and willing to help any way possible. We spent our time by the small pool. Chairs were always available and there was always a nice breeze since it was facing the ocean. The lounge chairs were to close to one another at the large pool. Getting in and out of them sometimes became a task. We had a great couples massage at a reasonable price. There are many restaurants and bars all walking distance from the hotel. The beach is short 2-3 minute walk.Upon check out at 6:00am we were given some croissants since breakfast was not yet being served. We had a wonderful time here. I would definitely recommend Barcelo Teguise Beach.

The 4 star Hipotels La Geria Hotel is located in b>Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, and has 242 comfortable and spacious rooms distributed in four floors. It is ideal for your family holidays in Lanzarote.
First solo holiday, 5 nights half board. Reception lady friendly upon my arrival late in the evening and kindly lent me a phone charger plug as I only had the cable with me. They had put some fruit aside and offered to swap the evening meal I’d missed (due to flight delay) for lunch on my last day. Which was great. Room very nice and clean, I really liked my room. All the hotel was very clean, the cleaning staff must be amazing (always have a smile and a ‘hola’ when passing too.) Initially the TV would not work for me it was stuck in German and not playing, reception got this sorted on 2nd request. Maintenance man was really friendly and polite and dealt with issue quickly. Pool absolutely baltic and couldn’t bring myself to go in unfortunately. Glass of water at the bar approx 2 euros 65 (for maybe a half a pint) which is expensive compared to a cocktail which is about 5 euros 25 (depending which you have…recommend “love on the beach”). Shops only a short walk though. I have a gluten allergy and I’m also dairy free & vegetarian (I know) so I was a bit concerned about the food, however the staff always made a separate dish for me in the evening like a gluten free pasta or rice dish (although not to my taste really good of them and certainly edible!) They also had really nice gluten free baguettes for breakfast, there was also gluten free breakfast cereal. Plenty of fruit at all times and soya milk. Adult evening entertainment was fair enough, theres a pretty sedate atmosphere with the guests (not expecting a rave but lack of atmosphere just to mention what to expect!). The kids entertainer was an absolutely lovely guy and kept the kids happy and also did aqua aerobics one day and yoga (I didn’t). A couple of the waiters were really nice & welcoming, others not so much (and one I found quite rude on one occasion). I would definitely return & recommend.

Aequora Lanzarote Suites is on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen, a short stroll from the beach. The hotel's whitewashed buildings are scattered around its swimming pools, and Lanzarote's mountains provide a dramatic backdrop for the gardens. The terraces are planted with mature trees and native shrubs, and there's a choice of places to sit and unwind with a drink from the poolside bar, including an adults-only relaxation area with comfortable sofas alongside one of the pools. Younger guests can enjoy the two separate kids' pools, one of which has a pirate ship, or swim in the shallow area of one of the larger pools. There's also an outside play area for kids to explore. There are three other swimming pools, including the adults-only pool. If you'd like to keep fit on holiday, the hotel has tennis courts and a sports hall. It's a short drive to the nearest 18-hole golf course, or you could make your way there on one of the hotel's rental bicycles. Within Aequora Lanzarote Suites there are two buffet- restaurants, 1 a la carte restaurant, and a selection of bars, as well as a convenient mini-market on site for holiday essentials. There's Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The sandy beach of Playa de los Pocillos is a few minutes from the hotel. There are shops, bars and restaurants at Los Pocillos, as well as a traffic-free promenade popular for evening strolls.
The hotel, the rooms are kept spotless by the hardworking team of cleaners as is the whole of the hotel, and the food is excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are always very helpful and courteous and with a smile,

Love this place!! My second stay in Iberostar Lanzarote and absolutely love it! We stayed for 2 weeks in the Star Prestige area and we can totally recommend it! Breakfast and diner is in the prestige restaurant, lunch is in the main restaurant which is very crowded and busy with kids. Food has a great quality. During nighttime we had our drinks at the Star Prestige Poolbar with live music. A big thank you to Charaf, Jan and the others! They work very hard! Hopefully we will return in 2023.

Our room was massive and well presented. Good coffee machine, loads of wardrobe space, generous with the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was great, the staff were all efficient and friendly. Spa was fab with really friendly staff. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the poolside restaurant - we only visited once and the service was bad. The gentleman who was taking orders never wrote down which table the orders were for so food was bouncing all around the diners. It was pretty chaotic, but I guess they had a staff shortage and maybe this guy stepped in to help. We only got 2 of the 3 things we ordered, but we also were not charged at all, so that was nice (or maybe he forgot to write the room number down). All in all, we had a lovely time and would be happy to return.

The Seaside Los Jameos Playa is located alongside the beach of Los Pocillos in the quiet area of Puerto del Carmen. Architecturally inspired by the island style, the hotel has magnificent pools set in extensive landscaped palm gardens. Hotel guests can enjoy a wide variety of sports activities and entertainment, suitable for all ages, even for the youngest members of the family.
We booked this holiday to a place we know and love, the first since 2019 and yet again we were not disappointed neither in the the staff or the hotel cleanliness. We were a bit anxious when booking, especially after the past 2 years of Covid pandemic but all our concerns were unfounded. Already thinking of another trip after the summer.

Firstly I wanted to say that the room standards and outside areas were really a good standard with great access to both the port and playa Blanca ,however the main points for this hotel to improve upon are food options and additional staffing, the evening entertainment was very basic and lead us to go out on an evening or retire early. We were on an all inclusive basis and had also upgraded to preferred club, firstly the food was very limited in choice and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The entertainment on an evening was very basic and lacking any real substance, we were very disappointed thus went out to avoid the boredom, the last point was the lack of staffing on an evening especially, waiting to be served and seated ! Just not good enough really. In the evenings just one main bar which struggled with the volume, an additional sports bar was not available? On the preferred club we had access to a club members pool and private lounge with snacks throughout the day , this was a pleasant bonus but found the food being left out far to long and not replaced regularly. This is a real shame because the hotel standards generally were high with branded drinks nice pool areas and great vista. If the hotel contracted on making improvements in these areas it would be fantastic, unfortunately we would not return. Mike &Paula

To be honest I have stayed in far worse places. Not sure why there are reviews complaining about the food. I would think they are the sort of people who eat nothing but junk food smothered in salt for every meal so I get why they might be disappointed, but we were pleasantly surprised. The fruit and salad were plentiful and always very fresh. They even serve freshly squeezed juice and smoothies at breakfast unlike many Spanish hotels which serve that awful concentrate which tastes like undiluted squash. We were a big party (11 of us) and never had an issue getting sunloungers each morning. There are plenty of parasols too except in the patio around the back. Good location opposite the beach, where it costs €10.50 for 2 loungers and a parasol for the day (bargain!) Only 5 minutes drive from the airport. Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff were fantastic. Entertainment was hit and miss, but it always is. The building is a little tatty in places but other than that i cant fault it. Thank you Sol for a great holiday.
