I was quite pleased with my stay at Privilege Eurociel. It is a lovely family run hotel and everyone (except the woman who staffed the breakfast room on the first two days of my stay) was kind and friendly. Speaking of breakfast, if you book your stay through the hotel website, the excellent buffet is a bargain at 5 Euros. When I booked, the cost was 3 Euros and the lower rate was honored. It's still a huge bargain at 5 Euros. The location is convenient to the Saint Roch Railway Station, Centre Comedie, and the tram lines. My Superior Double Room was moderately sized, but had a feeling of spaciousness, as well as tons of natural light. There was also an incredible amount of storage space. And most importantly, it was spotlessly clean! Simply stated, this hotel is an all around wonderful establishment and I highly recommend it for a stay in Montpellier.

Loved the hotel. Great location, just outside the walls. The pool was great on a hot day. The staff helped us with directions and places to eat. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace and breakfast outside on the terrace. Very pleasant people. Only issue was open air bike parking.

Standing between two historic landmarks, the Roman Chateau Comtal and the Gothic Basilica of Saint-Nazaire, the Hotel de la Cite is set in its own glorious gardens. With its solid stone walls, wood paneling and stained-glass windows, the Hotel offers luxurious hospitality and award winning cuisine in its two restaurants.
The hotel itself is amazing. The rooms were massive and spotlessly clean. The bed was large and comfy. The gardens outside were immaculate and we spent an afternoon at the bar just admiring the view. The hotel is located within the city walls. It’s in a great spot to explore Carcassone in the evening once all the crowds have disappeared and it feels less touristy. The parking is just outside the city. Once you park, you get driven to the hotel (only a few minutes drive). Unfortunately when we left, we had to wait about 20 mins to be driven to our car because the driver was stuck behind a few trucks that had come in. While not his fault, that coupled with terrible traffic caused us to miss our flight, which was quite frustrating. I would recommend the hotel - it is breathtaking and was a great experience.

Catherine and Jean Michel are the perfect hosts. The hotel is located in a traffic restricted street just over the old bridge Pont Neuf ... (no through road after 11 apart from residents) and it is lined with restaurants, bistros and little bars. A ten minute walk uphill to the old Citadel so a perfect location for walkers or cyclists. 20-30 minute amble downhill for the newer part of town (not that 14/15th century can be called new!) And the train station and shuttle to/from the airport. The rooms at the hotel are quite large, immaculate and well presented. With a third floor viewing terrace with vista of the old Citadel. We booked our visit back in 2019 pre Covid and the booking was honoured at the price we paid back then. We will be visiting it again as our two days simply wasn't enough.

Hotel 100% INDEPENDANT and authentic Front office team casual and English speaking air-conditioning Quilt and walk-in shower in every room. Great breakfast buffet Car is recommanded for our travellers.
We were travelling from U.K. to Spain via a long drive through France and booked this hotel as a one night stopover. We were very dubious about a 2* hotel but thought it’s one night, we just need to sleep, we’ll take a chance as all the reviews were so good. We needn’t have worried. It’s basic, yes. But immaculately clean (and I’m fussy), huge double bed, bathroom was clean and functional with no mouldy silicone (I hate that) and the staff were absolutely fantastic. The young lady on reception couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We were knackered and starving. She suggested a few restaurants and takeaways and we decided on a pizza delivery. She came and knocked on our door when it arrived and got us cutlery and crockery and a table in the breakfast room. Parking is plentiful right outside the hotel in their own parking lot and free. The bed was comfy, the location quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We were up and at breakfast for 6.30am next day. Again, blown away by the quality and quantity of breakfast. Pastries, cheese, ham, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and great coffee. And once again a friendly and helpful young lady looked after us at breakfast. Some reviews said they struggled finding it, we used ‘Waze’ and took us straight there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stopover and we’ll definitely use it again.

Unfinished terrace. Very dirty pool and sitting area! We also were not informed until arrival that the restaurant was not open. Very friendly staff and breakfast was good. Booked on Booking.com who totally changed our review! We all had bad sickness whilst staying there too. All in all our 4 night stay was a nightmare.

In the Camargue at the border of the Mediterranean in its picturesque Le Grau du Roi and the largest marina in Europe Port Camargue You will find the Splendid Hotel Camargue. Ideally located on the beach while staying in the city center. All the sea view rooms have a balcony.
The Splendid hotel is ideally located on the seafront. Rooms have a balcony from where one can enjoy the view of the sea and the boats entering the harbour. They are nice, modern and clean. Since there is very little traffic allowed along the seaside, it is very quiet and one can sleep with the window open. The restaurant is operated separately and offers excellent menu's at attractive prices.
