TOP12 is a new hotel in Lalibela, with, as the name says it, 12 rooms, bathrooms en-suite and balconies, from where you have a breathtaking view all over the valley and the mountains, especially impressive for sunset. Rooms and bathrooms meet absolutely Western standards but still have the traditional Ethiopian style.

Reviewed By MsHaslundI visited Top Twelve Hotel in Lalibela for a quick weekend trip to visit the Lalibela churches. This hotel was really great. The room was spacious and comfortable, and with the most amazing view from the large balcony. The staff was friendly and service-minded, and it was such a treat to have breakfast served outside right on the cliff-side with the spectacular view of the Lalibela surroundings. Can definitely recommend.

My accommodation is found at Lalibela Ethiopia above the rock cut churches of Lalibela. Those are built in 12th century; from the hotel to the main entrance of the churches is a 3 minute walk. The hotel is new and comfortable, there is an access of cafe and food services.

Reviewed By AniaMachutI really enjoyed my stay there. It's great location for exploring the churches. The staff was very helpfull, beds are comfortable, everything was workind in bathrooms (which is not so obvious in case of budget hotels in Ethiopia). Reasonable price for this standard.

Views from your bedroom are fabulous. Staff are lovely, highly recommend, possibly nicest hotel on our trip so far.

It's quiet, one can sleep well and dream about all the Lalibela's churches and heritage. Good price with a good breakfast which is included. Sami, who runs the guesthouse, is a nice and young cool guy who will help you with everything. As his brother. They were extra welcoming with me as they took me to a bar for sunset from which the view on the valley is breathtaking.

Reviewed By ClaudiaYacuraI spent 5 nights in Asheton,it is a low budget hotel. The windows,doors are very nice. The green garden is amazing.My room was comfortable and the bed too.I had hot shower. There was problem in water supply in the city but for this the hotel could not do nothing except providing buckets with water. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was very good and fast.Fikr the manager was always kind and helpful with me.the main living room and the whole structure needs some renovations and mantainance to give a better impression and make it more comfortable; the place is nice just needs some mantainance, despite this I would choose it again even because it is in a quiet location

Wonderful hospitality
Reviewed By melissamazzeoI stayed at Jerusalem Hotel during Ethiopian Christmas in January 2020. The hospitality was wonderful; Solomon went out of his way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and lush, and a lovely oasis from the bustle of the city (at least during Christmas - it's much calmer the rest of the year). Sitting by the fire with a bottle of tej is one of my favorite memories from my trip to Ethiopia. Thank you Solomon, Desiye and everyone who helped make our visit so wonderful!

There is a professional and licensed guide that works together the hotel and the service worth the price. He knows everything about churches and is a kind man. Good restaurant nearby.
