We were the only patrons in the place yet our fries arrived pale and virtually uncooked, still frozen in the center. Inexcusable. The server was appologetic, but no one trusted the kitchen any further. We left the restaurant with food untouched. Nice view of the lake though.

Wow, simply Wow! On Wednesday nights the 11th Street Cowboy Bar fires up the charcoal grills for guests who bring whatever they'd like to grill, steaks, burgers, sausages, chicken, whatever. And, if the bar doesn't sell it (hard liquor), you can BYOB. Beer, wine, mixers are available and must be purchased at a very reasonable price. They provide sides of salad and bake potatoes at $7/pate, all the seasonings for the meats. But wait there's more. The management has a live band where people two-step all night long. This is what Texas is all about. Don't be surprised to see horses hitched up alongside trucks, motorcycles and the like. There is only one 11th Street Cowboy Bar in the world and this is it. By the way, ladies, if your brassieres are too much to deal with, feel free to hang them in the rafters...

A beautiful morning for a motorcycle ride to a good breakfast. We both ordered the biscuits and gravy with poached eggs from Angela, our server.
Perfectly poached eggs, tasty gravy on fluffy biscuits showed up a few minutes later. Good food and good service made for a great breakfast.
We have had both a good breakfast and lunch at Backyard Bistro, dinner next!!

Always my choice for family style Mexican food. Service is usually superb but can slow a little when the place is full. Tortilla to kill for!!! The Super Burrito is my favorite filled with fajitas and smothered in onions....YUMMMM!

Tried to give them a second chance. Customers seat themselves, so we sat at an empty table only to be told 10 minutes after we sat down that we would have to move because the band needed to set up. Why would you not move the table from that area or at least out a sign on it! We will NOT be giving them a 3rd chance!

I had chicken fried chicken. Way overcooked and tasteless and definitey a frozen product from Ciscos food service. the cream gravy had no flavor to rescue the chicken. The fries were again, a frozen product purchased from a restaurant supply company and they were awful. The server brought me a roll and said that it was leftover from christmas and they had to use them up. It had been warmed by a microwave and was blistering hot. When it cooled it was so tough that I could have chewed the sole of my shoe easier than it.
It took one and a half hours to get our meal.
I could not give a recommendation to eat here.
Bon Appetit.

Many restaurants have been at this site but the current iteration deserves a visit. Their Italian food is decent but the pizza and stromboli are excellent. The other items on the menu span the American food range; seafood and chicken fried chicken and burgers. The restaurant staff is attentive and the place is clean. The service is on the slow side for pizzas but the wait is worth it.
