Not a lot of choices in the area, so we thought we'd give it a try. Wife tried the ribeye and absolutely loved it. I had a pizza and really enjoyed it. If we're in the area again, well stop back.

A must stop in Lake Village, Arkansas is Rhoda's. The hot tamales are the best and her pies are awesome!! The pie choices are many, but if you are having a hard time deciding, go with one of her half and half pies...two flavors in one pie!
Rhoda's Tamales and Pies redefines the term "Breakfast of Champions"!!

We have moved into our brand new restaurant!! As of July 8th 2012, we are now located at 1025 hwy 65 & 82 photos to be posted soon!!! Same great food & service, in a new building, we are excited!!!
During a recent weekend trip in Lake Village, we dropped in JJ's for lunch. There's a buffet available for lunch, and you can also order off the menu there. We all opted for the buffet, which was decent. Service was friendly, although it did take forever to get drinks!

We were travelling through and decided to stop by LJ's based on the other reviews here. It's a little bit off the main highway but well worth the stop. We all had their home made hamburgers. These were some of the best hamburgers I've ever had. This is a favorite with the locals. Can't go wrong here!

Dinner, breakfast, & lunch options are all fantastic. This place also has gasoline and store items. Great place! They're shorts and sunglasses were pretty cute too. They're set up also for all things fishing so do stop here for that too. Delicious with a wonderful selection of food. The breakfast sandwich with egg, ham, and cheese was delicious. If you're staying at one of their cottages or just live or staying nearby they offer to go orders as well as dine in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The cooks here are apparently amazing by the tastes of things!!

We happened on to the Cow Pen on our way through the area and were pleasantly surprised! Ribeye steak was tasty if a bit overdone, husband's seafood platter was delicious. The yeast rolls reminded me of childhood and the salad bar was excellent!

This is the BEST Chinese food I have EVER tasted in my life. The waitress/owner Terri is so sweet as well as her husband the other owner/chef Authur Lee Jr. If you live nearby or are just passing thru please stop in and eat something. IT IS ALL GOOD!!!! This is the first Resturant I have given a 5 star rating too!!!

My wife and I stopped in to Charlie Mae's for breakfast. It doesn't look like much from the outside, as it appears to be an old gas station. Only the signage in the window would makes it noticeable from the road. However, the food was great. I had the "loaded omelet," with veggies, sausage, and bacon, along with tater tots. The omelet was huge, freshly-prepared, and tasty, and the helping of tots was pretty big. Our meal - with omelets, tots, and drinks - came to $17, pretty reasonable given the price. I would highly recommend Charlie Mae's.

We were here with a large group during a ball tournament. The food is good...service was slow. Wait staff was nice. They are accommodating. In fact,, they worked hard to put one group together, but the way tables were arranged kept people from being able to leave the area! Extra good guacamole and great menu with many items from which to choose. People in southeast Arkansas really like this place. I just want them to bus tables quicker and keep it clean.
