Having been taken to the restaurant last night ,must say I was not impressed with the five dishes we received.. Started with Berenjenas Freitas con Melaka....Fried eggplant with molasses Tasty but nothing. Exciting .next came wine braised chorizo with potatoes .A few slices of chorizo on a pile of roast potatoes with caramelised red onion . Next Grilled calamari with salad and wrinkly salt boiled potatoes with a red chilli sauce. .Then a dish of Veal & vegetable skewers served with couscous .last but not least was a dish of Chicken tenderloins with a honey mustard sauce .I might be wrong but I feel the sauce was from a bottle at any supermarket ..Whilst there are about 14 dishes to choose from must say nothing was a stand out and a must have .Nice family ran restaurant with very strange decor...the sea meets the desert lots of fishing nets seashells and artificial hanging plants ...All rather strange ....... Would I return .....No the food was not inspiring enough .

The mushroom and asparagus meal was incredible - I couldnât stop eating the mushrooms and I usually donât even like them. The choice of delicious vegan and gluten free options was unmatched in anything else I have seen around this district. The falafel dish requires a 14 hour flight out of Sydney to the high plains of Persia to find a competitor. I could go on but Iâll stop at the friendly service and fine atmosphere. Just lovely.
A Saturday afternoon, sun is shining, glass of red and an authentic antipasto platter to share - green Sicilian olives (that are to die for) the selection is outstanding and changes with what is available. Packed with unbelievable flavours and tastes!! Sitting under an umbrella on the sidewalk - you could imagine being in Italy watching the world go by! Finish with a cappuccino and a cannoli that is freshly made to order. This place is one you'll make your local. The staff are friendly and attentive. The Lake has been missing an authentic Italian deli - here it is!! â¤ï¸ love â¤ï¸ love â¤ï¸ love â¤ï¸
