Montarra is our go-to place for birthdays and other special occasions, it has a city feel in the suburbs, Beautiful Chihuly light pendant, water wall, cozy booths, lively bar and high top tables and excellent waitstaff. Wines by the glass are a bit pricey, but a great selection, the small plate menu is outstanding, and even the sides are large portions. We celebrated my husband's birthday last week and Montarra had put his name and birthday wishes in our personalized menus! A great touch, and our well trained waitress, Cassie was busy but never neglectful. We had the soup special, a creamy lobster, tuna tartar, the grouper tostadas, brussels sprouts with bacon, petite filet mignon crisp and an apple crisp type dessert with more birthday wishes--we licked our plates, every bite was deslish and done perfectly! Thank you for another great celebration!

The service was wonderful here, but the food left something to be desired--let's just say that Denny's food would be better than this. I will say the side of mac 'n cheese I ordered was good as well as the pumpkin soup...but the rest of the food my party ordered was terrible--the pulled pork was dry and not tasty, and the 'Bavarian sausage sampler' was horrid--bad tasting sauerkraut, gross tasting meat and overall forgettable. Not worth what the bill came to (nearly $60!) for 4 people, one of which was a kid's meal'. We wouldn't really recommend--seems like they do ice cream well, and possibly breakfast, and that's it...

Still our favorite after many years. Never fails to impress. Tuna Tataki is a great appetizer. The Onogiroshi is my favorite chilled sake, and this is one of the few restaurants to carry it. Cocktails are also superior. Servers are very good. Fresh and fantasic quality. You will not be disappointed.

This Starbucks has recently been remodeled. It offers a drive-thru, indoor cafe, and outdoor seating on a patio with umbrella equipped tables and chairs. Pleasant surroundings with a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your favorite beverage while using the wi-fi, visiting with a friend, or just relaxing. They also have a nice selection of tempting desserts, snacks, and light lunch options. The drive-thru is pretty busy any time of the day, however, the efficient baristas prepare orders quickly to keep things moving along.

We have been making the worlds best donuts in Crystal Lake since 1976. Scaled, mixed, bench rolled and handcut using the science of baking. We take great pride in doing it RIGHT! No shortcuts, just delicious donuts. Watch our bakers work through the kitchen window! Our coffee blend was developed by master roaster Mike Levinson, and it is roasted each week by Coffee Masters of Spring Grove, Illinois. A medium bodied all Arabica blend that stands up to cream and sugar. Our own espresso is used for our Lattes and iced coffees. We stand by every product we make with an unconditional guarantee: Love it or let us know and we will gladly replace or refund your money. We live and die by every sale. We want your experience to be a delicious one!
Probably one of the best small donut shops I've been to. Not a huge chain so everything is made fresh and hot. The have a drive through, are very quick and courteous and really enjoy dealing with baked goods. They serve some special seasonal drinks as a bonus but you may want to grab your mocha from your favorite spot because I wasn't too excited by my drink. Not allot of seating in the busy place but grab a quick bite and enjoy the deliciousness.

Cucina Bella offers authentic Italian cuisine accompanied by a great selection of wine and spirits. A stylish, comfortable atmosphere and simple decor adorned by brick walls create a cozy feeling at Cucina Bella. Fresh ingredients serve up savory recipes, creating an unforgettable visit time and again. Combining creative dishes and a wide variety of flavors, Cucina Bella enhances a true Italian dining experience to be shared among family and friends.
We love Cucina Bella. There food is excellent especially their two different eggplant dishes. It is loud there when filled due to the structure of the building. On slower nights it is a lot better

Have shopped here many times for meats and deli items and everything is always great. I completely lost track of time this past Thanksgiving and was desperate for a Turkey. Butcher on the Block really came thru for me, even broke the bird down. Much appreciate the food and service. They are not the cheapest but the quality and service are top notch!

Big place and big portions. Large seating areas in restaurant, patio, porch and bar. Broasted Chicken was very good but, the London Broil was fantastic. You definitely get your money's worth. Great place for families.

This is a little place but big on selections---there are over 20 sub selections---the most famous is the Al Capone and although these are gourmet subs, the prices hover around $8.99..there's also burgers and dogs if you sillily don't want one of these great subs...combos are available with soup or salad or chili...it's a family owned business, always popular, always good. And yes, there is a kids menu and brownies for dessert! We travel from Crystal Lake to get subs here, so what does that tell you?

We eat here a lot. Mostly takeout. They are always on point. I always have the carne asada. It's amazing. My husband order different every time. He always loves it. The tacos are great. Their chips and salsa are fantastic.
