Stopped in for lunch while passing through town. First thing I noticed was how beautiful the courtyard is with all the plants and trees. The restaurant is small but very nice. I had a simple soup and salad. The salad was nice with no iceburg and all veggies were fresh. The crab soup was wonderful. I felt like I was in a high-end restaurant in Charleston! Service was good also. Will stop in again to try something else on the menu.

Good grief, one of the servers was so loud and inappropriate. Someone needs to explain “inside voice” and professionalism to her. I I learned about her lack of vacation time off, her daughters Easter, hospitals, other customers who irked her and her begging for the cook to make her some eggs. While the cook exits the kitchen for a beverage and complains about everything. Fortunately my waiter (Brook) was more professional and efficient. The skillet arrived with burnt potatoes that permeated the entire dish.
Adorable place, it just needs a mute button. Hardly the place for a relaxing morning cup of coffee.

Try the Texas fajitas, it does not get any better than that! Shrimp quesadilla are outstanding as well!

This fried seafood joint has GREAT prices and some of the best seafood in South Carolina. Order the shrimp or catfish stew, stay for the amazing prices and large portions.

Went to Art field and stopped here for lunch. Friendly service and great fried chicken! ( one of lunch specials) and 3 sides. Lovely place with real flowers on table and white cloth table clothes. We will definitely return! In an old train station on the side of the track! Yes, the train went by but the sound was real nostalgic and added to the quaintness!

Great food and large portions of it. You get to choose from a large menu and the food is good. Definitely worth a try. There are multiple outlets - both at Lake City and Kingstree, SC.

This is a BBQ and soul food buffet. The restaurant was warm and slightly uncomfortable. The food is good; the BBQ very good but I was disappointing there was no cole slaw which is must in the South when serving pork BBQ; also there was no bread, cornbread, biscuits etc. which is also a must for a southern Sunday dinner. The sweet tea was good;?they were very busy and I think the servers were a bit overwhelmed.

Wow!! What a surprise this place turned out to be. From the looks of the exterior we were wondering what the inside might be like - a dump? Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is very nicely decorated. We were there for lunch and were seated quickly. Salsas and chips appeared in no time and we were pleased that they gave us a hot salsa, as well as, a mild salsa which allowed us to have as much heat as we wanted by mixing them. The salsa was very good as were the chips. We both ordered a lunch special and were quite surprised to see how much food was on the plate - a lot! The drink cups are very large which keeps you from having to ask for frequent refills. The food had an excellent flavor. Neither of us had anything to complain about, which is usually not the case. There always seems to be something that could be better when we eat out. This was just a great place for Mexican. We'll definitely eat here again.

These people are not pretending to be anything. They aren't Italian or even Italian-American. The are immigrants from Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Their pizza is OK, nothing wonderful. There's only counter service and a hodge podge of tables and chairs miss-matched without any covering. There's only one crust option, made from white flour. The toppings are even less diverse than the Domino's nearby. They do have many subs, and some pasta options, but none is remarkable, none. As far as I can tell, they have no alcohol, so soft drinks rule the menu.
If you don't mind lackluster service, greasy food with bland tones, go here. Be fore-warned, tummy complaints will possibly ensue.

Good atmosphere but they were out of some beers brands they offer and the food was poor. Small portions of the main meal, I think the chicken on my chicken sandwich was 2 Oz, will a ton of french fries. All four us attending were not very happy with our food. The desert was great though. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
