A Taste of Lemon is only a couple of blocks from the town square in a building formerly occupied by a Methodist congregation. Owner Betty Daniel and her daughter Donna serve up delicious lunches for hungry locals and lucky visitors Monday - Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00. Don't miss the pineapple casserole. It could be a side dish or a dessert. So yummy. This is a "meat and three" that goes WAY beyond the norm.

Debbie has been making our cakes for the last couple of years now she bakes pretty cakes to what you like it to look at , the problem is there not all that tasteful. I don't mean there bad but for the money you spend they should taste better then a cake u get at publix, a little pricy again for the taste but to design a cake that you can't get at a grocery store this is your place. I would have gave a 4 star if price and taste was compared to looks!

We try to come into the Cart Barn at least once a week and we have Excellent food, presentation and service. Everyone Tony has working there are customer service driven. WE will miss the Cart Barn when Tony retires but he deserves to retire and play golf. Thank you for your many years of superior cuisine.

For the last six months I have eaten here many times. Each time the food was cooked to perfection including the loaded potato soup. I am happy and thankful that this Longhorn is in my town. It is always a pleasure to eat here.

The restaurant is lovely inside and the menu looks great. But the food doesn't live up to expectations. There were 6 of us so we tried a lot of different items including appetizers, soups, salads, pizzas and an entree. Everything was just so-so. The food is presented artfully but more time should be spent on the taste.

Was in town for business and stopped in for lunch. Prices are great and service is, too. I has a cheeseburger, chips, big pickle, and soda for <$7. Burger was good. Easy in and out and seemed quite popular. It is fast food, but definitely better than chain restaurants.

If you are not hungry when you arrive here it won't take long to get hungry when you smell the air where they are smoking the bbq. We had the pork plates with cornbread, fries, slaw and bake beans. It was all very good. We had mild sauce to top it with, but I found mine was perfect with to no sauce. The location right off the square was easy to find. For a visitor to the area the parking was a little hard to find. However, it made good sense once we figured it out. The ladies there were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Hostess was missing from her station when we arrived at 8:30pm. We and another family had to wait for her return. However, once seated, Angel, our waitress was friendly and brought us refills of tea. The food was good. My husband's pork chop was moist and tender--not the tough hockey puck I had expected. My southern chicken caesar salad had crisp lettuce and still warm grilled chicken slices on top. I'm not a huge Cracker Barrel fan, but my husband was craving it and the meal and service turned out to be pretty good. However, the floor could have used some attention. A small child must have sat at our table earlier because the floor was covered with mashed pieces of cereal everywhere within a 3 foot radius. It was pretty much what I expected from a busy family restaurant.
