Lagos de Moreno (Spanish [ˈlaɣos ðe moˈɾeno] (help·info)) is a city and its surrounding municipal area of the same name, located in the extreme northeastern part of the state of Jalisco in Mexico. It is part of the macroregion of Bajío. At the 2010 census the city had a population of 153,817 inhabitants, making it the 6th largest city in the state of Jalisco.

This was our first lunch in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco and it was luxurious. The service was excellent and the menu was extensive. They have port wine, which we started with, and it was all good from there. They brought tiny unique marzipan bites on a tray for a finish.

Location is just several blocks away from the town center and the service and appearance are fine. I though the food could have been better. Some items were freshly made, some had a food service taste. Either the vegetables or rice had a (very undesirable) fake butter taste. Prices were reasonable.

He tenido la oportunidad de asistir a este restaurant en varias ocasiones, la prontitud de servicio y el sazon de la birria es mas que excelente, además de que el precio es muy razonable. Un jugo de naranja y una orden de birria $75.00, si vas de pasada por Lagos y quieres darte un atracon de birria, este es el sitio. Buen provecho!!!.

Chicago's Pizza looks like those from the best pizzerias in Chicago but it does not even come close. The dough is tough while those in Chicago is soft while being crispy at the same time. The cheese and ingredients are also of much better quality. Nice try but no cigar. Sorry.

I had the advantage of being with two Spanish speaking colleagues. The food was good, the restaurant was nice, and played good 80's music. We went on a Monday night around 7:30pm and it was empty. I recommend!

Even when this place is just by the Highway, it is a really clean place.
You get there and pick the piece of pork you like the best.
The place is clean and well organized, they accept credit cards and the personnel is really kind and helpful.
And on top of everything, the carnitas are just awesome!!!! Really one of the best places I have eaten carnitas in my life.

It's a very nice restaurant with great food (I ordered a pizza) and very good service. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect to chat with friends. One of the owner also explained us some special dishes which were not on the menu (in English). I also liked the design of the menu.

Llegamos cansados y con hambre, el lugar es moderno y el menú original. Todo lo que pedimos estaba bueno y se esmeraron por atendernos bien. La ensalada de jitomate con queso de cabra excelente!!!
