We totally enjoyed our one-night stay at Ludwig Guest House. Both Ketevan and Ontario (Oto) and their family and neighbors helped make our stay relaxing and filled with memories of true Georgian hospitality. We ate incredibly well and drank abundantly (local wine and cha-cha). Many toasts were made and we left feeling as if we had made new friends. Accommodations in their detached rooms (each with their own bathroom) were pleasantly satisfactory. No air conditioning, but the floor fans and cool night temperatures made for comfortable sleeping. Gardens, summer kitchen and outside seating are amazing. Thanks for a great experience!!

There ia a place in Lagodekhi where you can find a great guide and his family. The head of family named Johnny was a guide in Lagodekhi Managed Reserve and he got a lot of stories and advices for you. His wife Maka is very kind and helpful. There is a beautiful garden full of tasty fruits :) Johnny speaks fluent english and even understand Polish :) the room is ready for a winter - they have good heating system. In holl and room they are very stylish firniture (detalis... :)). Full recommended!

This hotel has great value for the price you pay. With 25 (no dinner) or 45 (with dinner) lari for each, you get good, clean, 2-person rooms. I'd recommend taking the dinner since it was the very best dinners we had in Georgia. Unlimited wine and meat, different menu everyday and traditional Georgian food I wanted to try throughout the trip. Hosts are very kind (but speak no english). However, you should beware drinking the (tap) water. We arrived there after a rain storm, and drank the water as we did all over Georgia (locals always said water are good to drink). After 3 of us (out of 4) got sick, the host asked if we drank from the water, stating they are "Not very good after rains". Apparently the hosts themselves don't drink from those water (they have mineral water cans). It is too bad they didn't mention it right when we arrived... Still, except that it was a great guesthouse... So I'd still recommend it.
