I wanted comfort food and thought Mess Hall would fill the bill and it did perfectly. Dinners were ravioli with meatballs and spaghetti similarly. Here's what we got: homemade pasta, one of the best sauces I've ever enjoyed, stunning ricotta raviolis and wonderful meatballs. Perfect. Bread was ok. Table was provided with all the necessary supplements: cheese, red pepper, olive oil. Only gripes were related to service.

The food is overly sauced although potion sizes are generous! Packed in tightly and not room to relax. A rushed atmosphere!

since the last time we stopped in, a little something has been added, a gelato bar with several flavors (honey cappuccino, should not be available without a prescription) all served up, samples offered by a bright, knowledgeable scooper... just right... oh, Valencia orange roast was the flavor of the month, five bucks a pound, take a hike, starbucks...

Stopped here to pick up some baked goods for a family dinner. They had a wonderful vast selection of rolls, muffins and bread. The crescent rolls were the bomb! Many of the cakes and other pastries were gorgeous but in my opinion pricey, I know good ingredients are not cheap but seemed higher than nice bakeries I've been to. Certainly a place for a special occasion treat though!

We have been here many times and the service is consistently slow and most of the times the orders are incorrect. The area behind the counter is usually quiet messy and dirty. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because, when the food is done properly, it is good.

Six of us (3 couples) get together for dinner about once/month and this time we chose Curly's. Everyone had a different main course and different appetizers and everyone was impressed. Interesting selections and many gluten free options. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone, including foodies!!!

Mention Fran Ceil's and people moan their approval!!! Pull in their crowded lot and you'll bump into friends from the Northtowns! Everyone knows Fran Ceil's! It is the BEST, creamiest, tastiest frozen custard in WNY! Flavors change and if you're really lucky, you'll be there on a PISTACHIO day!!! They have hard ice cream and sundaes and shakes and blah blah blah. But....the custard will make you weep. Cheap prices, tons of choices, and fairly good service. No inside seating or ordering. The minute it opens for the season, people are in line outside with their parkas.

Stopped in for an afternoon lunch. Took awhile to be greeted. Waitress seemed pleasant when taking our order. The food arrived relatively quickly and then we never saw the waitress again. She clearly didn't care if we liked our meals. The food was very very good but a refill on water or soda would have been nice. At the end of the meal we had to track down the waitress for our "tab". If you don't care about service you will love this cafe,

What great Food and awesome service. Stefanie our server gave us the time to have a relaxing evening. It was our 1st time there and her recommendations were very helpful. She was awesome. The cocktails are not skimpy. A double is a double. The salads are great. My Wife had The Salmon special! She loved it. I had the Veal Parmesan! Awesome! The portions are huge! They also have a great selection of wines by the glass! A great evening. We loved it and we'll be back.

Went here some years ago with terrific food and highly recommended. Not now. Dry, overcooked beef with no juice and half-raw fries dripping grease were expensive and a huge disappointment. Bun had no juice to make it palatable, so it was like eating cardboard, and tasted about the same. Would never recommend, and advise avoiding it. Just the sandwich with no side was $7.50. Even Andersons is less cost and FAR superior. Wait staff were in the back the entire time and did not see me or other customer who came in. We were the only diners....which says a LOT for a Friday dinner hour.
