The quality of the innovative food and the service are impeccable and yet friendly and thoughtful. The set menu is well worth having and changes weekly always offering a selection of 2 dishes too select from whether for the appetizer, main dish, cheese course and dessert. The appetizer selection was between a lovely oyster and foie gras dish and another with smoked salmon. The quality and freshness of the food is always superb.

Very good restaurant for eating fish. We choose the 25 euro menu: entrée with 9 oysters, main dish with grilled swordfish and a selection of french cheese. The fish was fresh and delicious, above all I liked the oysters.
2 negative observations: first, I sent an email 1 week before in order to book a table, but anyone answered me (fortunately, I went under low season and it was not really necessary...); second, it was cold inside, existing heating apparatus was not suffisant. But I strong advise this restaurant...

This smartly painted black and red cabin, known to the locals, sells plates of shellfish for eating inside or outside on the decking, as well as in boxes for takeaway. Delicious produce, decent house rose wine, very friendly service and very modest prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our oysters and prawn lunch here!

Visited the restaurant and was mindset to eat "Formule". Food was nicely prepared, spicy gaspacho and shrimp pannecotta also interesting spicy. Main courses quite standard steak+frites and a veal dish with rice. Interior chic and modern design with a friendly service-minded staff.
Absolutely worth the visit for further exploration of the menus.
Not that easy to find parking places on the roadside though.

Went here for lunch, then returned a week later for dinner. Both times, we ordered the market menu, which was both very good and good value. Carpaccio came with a mixed salad, along with a surprising (and delicious) tomato sorbet. Very tender duck with cepes and a nice souris d'agneau. Service was pleasant, as is the garden. This is the type of honest restaurant one hopes to find but usually can't.

Fantastic location right next to Dune du Pilat and beach and great value (79 euro per night) for 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6-8 although just us 2 as didn't pre-book so too last of 2 cabins (recommend pre-booking), but lots of accommodation types from tents to cabins with/without sea view. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff and free car parking in locked private car parking security barrier area next to cabin. Charming appearance and simple decor all fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, microwave, cooking facilities and even a kettle!Tip top comfort and cleanliness. Great size cabin (had no. 1 with sea view through trees) with ample size doubled bedroom, shower, toilet, fitted wardrobes, comfortable double bed, and all mod cons. Clean linen, lashings of hot water, TV, and decking with table chairs and loungers. Sadly no towels provided, so bring your own. Nice restaurant with inside & outside Seating decking with seaview (great for sunsets), not cheap but good portions (can recommend the tartare de boeuf!). Also has separate ice cream/creparie/waffles cafe next to restaurant. Supermarket has limited stock (although daily fresh baguettes) so recommend an 8.30am 2min drive to the next campsite along main road with larger supermarket on main road that stocks freshly baked baguettes and croissants daily! Alternatively a huge Inter Marche supermarket located at Miguottes 10mins drive away. Great facilities on camp-site; 2 good size swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis court, gym and a fun water slide and great walks, Beaches, parapente, sailing and horse-riding facilities nearby. If you want comfortable camping (cabin) at great value in a an amazing natural location with access directly onto the dune du Pilat and Beaches you can do no better!

The " Oyster bar " of the Market of Arcachon welcomes you all year long. The Oyster Bar proposes the apéritive tasting of Olivier LABAN, oyster farmer, producer and breeder of the oyster Arcachon - Cap Ferret. À la carte also; shrimps BIO, whelks terrine of campaign (countryside)Sale of oysters to be taken or to be tasted (savoured) on the spot.
We had to go there three times to get served.
It is in the centre of the most touristic part of Arcachon; still it behaves on working hours of a hundreds years ago.
We arrived at 14h00; sorry, we're closed.
Well, sorry, it's me the tourist; I have money; you live from my money, buit it seems that you want to continue to do business according to your timing.
On holidays I get up lazy (isn't this the first principle of holidays); then I make the breakfast to please my wife, then we finish eating breaklfast at 10h00 or 10h30; and then I should have lunch 1h30 later????
This is for a fisherman that gets ut at 6 AM, not a tourist time.
Second try: 13h00: sorry we want to clsoe in a few minutes
third try: 12h15: this time everything worked: very good and fresh oysters and all other shellfish.
Pirice was good too; idem for the location.
But my stomac wasn't ready yet.
I just couldn't finish my plate.
Why should I force my stomac just to please the restaurant?
Sorry, no, I felt almost like raped by such arrogant and intolerant behaviour.
You insist on keeping your opening hjours; move your restaurant to non-touristic regions

From the start to finish either salt or sugar was missing... The restaurant had 6 tables with guests and the chef was not ambitious enough to taste the sauces nor the main ingredients... Had great hopes, looked at the Youtube video, where people were enjoying, last night things were not as great. I wish the restaurant some success in the future... Add "amuse bouche " so you will have more tome to prepare the food properly!

Since we saw that restaurant classified in first position on Tripadvisor in Arcachon we decided to go there. The restaurant has pink flashy front (you cannot miss it). It is located in a shopping street just a few minutes walk from the sea. The menu propose various salty or sweety crepes and burgers. The burgers are somewhat originals since the slices of bread is replaced by sesame crepes. I recommand to take the menu which is composed with a burger, a drink and a desert (Nutella crepe or icecream).
