We loved the food in this restaurant. My husband and I both got the menu of the day, and it was some of the best food we ate in Basque country. Quite a lot of food, but definitely worth it, and a very reasonable price as well!Thank you very much, we try to please our customers

we were wine tasting in the area and someone recommended Vega for lunch. so glad we stopped in! other reviews were right, no english spoken but not needed. with a bit of google translate and basic words like tinto and blanca we all got by. the wine was young but still plenty fruity and great with the lunch. the food was good and wholesome. artichokes with Jamon, warm salad with sea food and something that looks like noodles on top but had a bit of a crunch. lamb stew...really good and also his recommendation (recommendar... another good word to know) stuffed pepper that were so lightly breaded with egg, so tender and delicious and yum sauce inside maybe mushroom. dessert was a very nice flan and a bit sweet rice pudding. all good!

Old cellar of the 16th century. Building of stone and wood. Five rooms with different atmospheres. Covered terrace and outside. More than 1000 m2 garden. Children's games. Parking for more than 50 vehicles. Two underground Cellars or "calados". Creative a
This is one of the better restaurants in the Rioja wine region and has a reputation for that even though there is no particular reason to visit Casalareina among quite a few not particularly charming surrounding towns. Wine tourism is the main attractive but a few have from good to outstanding restaurants. La Vieja Bodega is well known for its traditional Riojan food and we enjoyed that. The tomatoes with olive oil and basil were flavorful but the menestra was a little overcooked. On the other hand, the pig trotters were prepared to perfection. The popular ham croquettes were very good but not among the best we have eaten elsewhere. The berries desert was good and light for an after meal and the wine list good with offers in half bottles which we enjoy if needing to drive afterwards. The Sierra Cantabria red was very good and the price adequate. The food prices are moderate and the service a little rough perhaps appropriate for a large lumbering , clean, place as its name indicates. Parking was free.

In the hystoric center of Haro, wine capital, we are especializated in rioja style food and iberian cured saussages and hams. We serve menus, diferent salads, the best cod in rioja, portions, sandwiches, and a great variety of "tapas". Our wine collection
Had the â¬12 fixed priced lunch menu that came were several choices. For the starter, some of us had the chorizo bean soup that was delicious given the cold weather. Others had the salad but were underwhelmed as the salad consisted of largely of raw onion. My main dish was grilled lamb that was good, others had cod or the steak - everybodyâs meal was satisfying and filling enough that we all felt the need for the afternoon siesta. Bottle of house red wine came with the fixed-price lunch. Menus were in Spanish only but our waiter was very accommodating and explain to us our choices in English.

The restaurant is located in the cloisters around the perimeter of this historic hotel's grand atrium. The lighting at night is soft and moody and service attentive. Food was extremely good and in the local style. Wine list is, of course, superb.

Decided to visit Beethoven after reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed mainly due to great service from Helena who spoke perfect English. She recommended wines and local food which was delicious. On the second night we tried the T Bone Steak. The steak was sliced off the bone and served on a hot stone plate allowing it to continue to cook. The taste was unbelievable!!

FINES DE SEMANA Y FESTIVOS RESERVAS EXCLUSIVAMENTE HASTA LAS 14 HORAS. Más tarde pueden comer esperando turno.
We dined here on our first night in Haro. It was friendly and very Spanish. The speciality is oven baked lamb which was crispy on the outside and very tasty. Served with a crisp lettuce salad. The waiter spoke some English which helped as our Spanish is a bit limited. The wine was very good (red grand reserva). Not a cheap option but extremely delicious. So much so we went back and bought three bottles to take home. If you are a little adventurous- try the black pud as a starter. Surprisingly good. Streets ahead of what you get at home in an English breakfast deal. Haro is a lovely town that is family friendly and has a lovely central square. The community feel each evening was just fabulous and we so enjoyed just sitting and watching the world go by.

Went to this place because of trip advisor rating, and it is good. The place open from 1pm for lunch so donât go there too early. The menu has English version but not necessary match with the Spanish one, so better check with the waitress. I had whole grilled squid for â¬16, which is quite nice.
