Our stay here was last-minute, as the Parador we had booked was in a town which was completely sealed off due to Covid with one day’s notice. We were driving from Costa Brava to the ferry at Bilbao. What a pleasant surprise! The GR99 walking route passes through the village, which is on this beautiful stretch of the Ebro river. We had a lovely stroll on arrival and again before we left. Our room was enormous, very quiet, with a super-king size bed (180cms) lovely luxurious bed linen and a large bathroom. The measures in place for Covid were excellent, with a sterilising machine for the room key, glass bottles for water which you take and fill yourself from a cooling machine, a dispenser for disinfectant, etc. Excellent value for money, and a super, copious breakfast. We felt very safe, and well looked after. Thankyou!

Tinto Dreams Hostel is a low-cost accommodation in the city center of Haro, La Rioja. It offers beds in dorms and also private rooms with bathroom. It has a shared lounge and kitchen that all guests can use. The price per night includes sheets and towels for all rooms, wifi, heating and air conditioner, tourist information, help with booking activities, and more. Homemade breakfast available every morning.
The stay in Tinto Dreams Hostel was perfect. It had everything you need from a hostel and Deborah was great. The beds were comfy and plenty of privacy. The kitchen access was also helpful. I would definitely recommend and stay again here!

We are not just wonderful but Winederful because we are more than hosts, we are travelers ourselves. That is why we have tried to meet our visitors’ expectations and even exceed them. Located right at the heart of the Rioja’s wine capital, our accessible hostel occupies the ground floor of a brand-new apartment building and has all the facilities a backpacker would dream of: large shared or private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, walk-in showers and top-quality bunk beds whose size is bigger than average, plus they all come with some extras: a personal bedside light, curtains, an outlet and a security drawer or locker. On our premises, all doors and lockers also work with one single electronic key card provided on arrival. Breakfast is also included in all our rates and served from 8 to 10am. Our common areas include a large living / dining room, a kitchen and a backyard, all at our guest’s disposal. Winederful is also a café open to not just our guests but to any passer-by.
It is located right in the center but on a quiet street. My dorm (female for 6)was at the end of the corridor, super silent. Bed was comfortable and the curtain around it for privacy and the ensuite bathroom were a great plus. The common spaces were cosy and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will for sure recommend it!

Small and charming albergue in the center of town 5 minutes from the cathedral. One dormitory but divided into separate spaces for 2, 4, and 8 beds.
Modern and clean hostel. I was a bit worried about 26 beds in just one dormitory, but they are so nicely arranged, that you have privacy and also can have a group area. Lockers and a small kitchen are available. The owner is a really friendly and helpful man.

This albergue is located in the old city house and you need to take few floors up to the entrance. I arrived very early, even before 1 p.m. and i need to ring that someone arrived. Price is quite similar to all other albegues, but the dormitory room with about 5 bunk beds has 2 bathrooms and is all renovated/new with nice view to the street below and Logrono cathedral. And you get your own key of the dormitory, so you can leave it and lock whenever you want. At this albergue you will get also a towel and if you wish to wash you clothes in washing machine and drier you just gave all clothes to them and they will do it for you. It is very nice, when you take after a day of walking on the Camino a afternoon sleep and when you wake up a fresh clothes are waiting for you. My overall experience was very positive in terms of comfort and location, but i must admit that in our dormitory slept only 3 pilgrims and i assume that there were even not any more pilgrims in the albergue on that day at all. So i do not know how it looks like when it is more crowded.

The pilgrim hostel, "The Way of the Stars", in Navarrete, has opened its doors on July 11, 2016. We invite you to enjoy oursuites with private bathrooms and bedrooms along with areas of showers and toilets. Chill out spaces full of sofas, sun loungers and wide restaurant area which will help you get ready for the road again. Good food, good wine and good way.
Terrible experience. Told breakfast at 8 or go elsewhere. This is very late when walking the Camino due to the heat. At 8 there were a man and dog still sleeping on the sofa in the dark but with the television on and loud (24 hours). He told us there was no breakfast. When we went up to collect our things he locked all the doors and we had to leave by a fire exit. The previous night we returned after 10 pm to find 20-30 school children running around and shouting. They did this until after 12.30 am. There was a fairly scruffy back garden. Unfortunately, it seemed to be frequented by elderly smokers and noisy and quarrelsome children who were not staying there.

This newly constructed two-star hotel was opened in 2004. It is in a prime location in the Old Town and lies on the "route of the monasteries" on the Camino de Santiago (St. James's Way). All our 8 rooms have air-conditioning, wifi and centrally played in-room music. The hotel also has an 9 person room, as well as a garage for cycles and motorcycles.
Very well situated. Super clean. Most of all... Adorable hosts. They'll do everything for you and give you a warm welcome. I asked if there was a fridge available and the receptionist said he would find one for me, he went out and got me a portable one. They also found ice for my wound. Such nice people!

A little hard to find, but worth it. We were super lucky to get a semi private room as we were the first to arrive. Was just hoping for a bottom bunk but got 2 singles instead. Very happy. Spacious, clean, with sheets and blankets provided. Lockers provided. We opted for dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Boss Lady made sure we had plenty to eat. Felt like I was at home with my oma feeding me til I pop. Washing machine €3 and plenty of space to hang clothing. Very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Not much in the village at all. A total ghost town.
