Like all the Yelpers say, Akasaka Sushi Restaurant has a legendary chirashi bowl that competes with, and sometimes better than those you can find in Japan. I've had some of the freshest fish and chirashi bowls at tsukiji market in Tokyo, and have to say that Akasaka makes a mean chirashi bowl that rivals the best chirashi bowls in the world. The freshness and presentation, along with the variety of raw seafood make this bowl one of the best I've ever had. While the quantity of sashimi and sushi is often never enough at most Japanese restaurants, $45 here will definitely leave you satisfied.

First off, I've been a repetitive customer at this restaurant for their lunch buffet. The chai tea and gulab jamun itself is enough for me to come often, but when you add the rest of the food, it's a plus! Sure, most of their food is either chicken and veggies, shockingly they served goat recently, but I would say it's quality food. Everyone has bragged about their garlic naan, it's worth mentioning that it is quite good.
During these buffets, you literally have contact with the waiter twice. Once they seat you and twice they give you the check. Other than that, you're on your own. Another thing I love this place is that they don't hurry you. Sometimes they give you the check without asking but never once I've felt I'm being hurried to eat.
This place gets packed. I love coming in 30 min after opening so bring in that empty stomach and start chowing down on that great Indian food. Oooooh butter chicken.....

Sitting high on a glorious hilltop, overlooking the San Gabriel Mountains, you'll find the hottest bar and restaurant Los Angeles, CA offers. Red Restaurant is an upscale dining experience where only the finest steaks, freshest seafood and most stunning cocktails are served. Red is perfect for power lunches or passionate evenings. Live seasonal entertainment includes Jazz and Blues Nights.
Spent our last night in the bar partying. The drinks were good and there is plenty of space to gather large groups. There is also outdoor areas to sit.

I'd always wanted to visit this place and was stoked to find myself finally in the area. Driving through the giant Donut Hole is pretty cool for all us donut lovers. It allows ya to see all the donuts as you make your way to the order window. Prices are good. I got apple fritter and donut for maybe $3-4. Couple a spots to park so you can take the obligatory photo of the place (ya gotta.) Donuts were great.

It's been awhile since I reviewed this restaurant. During this last visit, Lazy Dog has changed their menus layout and I noticed some items were gone or under a different location. The first time I reviewed this restaurant, this place was really busy during the lunch. I was really surprised it was not busy during lunch on a Tuesday during this latest visit.
While I ordered the same meal, the quality was still the same but the presentation was different. They used to bring it in a bowl and now they brought on a plate. Since it's been a while since I had been there, it appeared my meal was a bit smaller from the last time I was there for lunch.
The service was the same and I didn't have any problems with the server. I will visit again. I hope this place does not shut down for a lack of customers.

The Iced coffee and pastries at this location were just average. Its a large and busy location , so expect to wait in line to get your pastries and then wait a while to get your drinks. They have a great selection of dessert and breads. It also has indoor and outdoor seating options. Overall could be better on the quality and freshness. We recently just went to the one in Azusa and it was way better in this regard than this location.

A staple in La Puente off of Amar, this fast food burger place does not disappoint! Food is tasty, though not low in calories, and very reasonably priced. You will not leave hungry. Large onion rings, YUM, BEST charbroiled burgers around, and FAST and efficient service. I regret that since I've moved away, I've yet to find a burger place that meets or beats Chris's Burger. Stop by, have a meal, and become a fan. I did! Oh, inside seating is limited but, they do have patio seating as well. Finally, this place is not a typical restaurant, so don't come here if that's what you're looking for. It's a typical California fast food burger place. Not fancy. Simply, good food at great price.

We have been going to Pompeii's for years. Recently, they had a turn around with new ownership. We love all their pasta dishes. My fav is the lasagna with sausage and antipasta salad. The pizza to us, has always been a little overpriced, but because of the delicious taste has been worth it. The few last times we went we have noticed a change in the pizza, the first time we noticed their was a little sweet taste so we asked and they said maybe cook mixed sugar instead of salt. Then again, we decided okay anybody can make a mistake and after years of great food, we would give it another try. Turns out that the pizza has completely changed and is now the same as Pizza CO on Gale in Hacienda Hgts (same owner). We noticed the difference in taste immediately. So we will continue going to Pompeii's for the pasta dishes, but if we are in the mood for pizza we can get the same thing at Pizza Co for way less.

This restaurant has zero curb appeal as it sits in a humble and unkempt strip mall with the Goodwill store as the main anchor. But walk into a cheerful and warmly laid out space. Everything here from the chips and salsa to the hand painted murals feels homemade and like a well run family operation The salsas margaritas and tortillas taste like they are from scratch and in general you can tell that they don't rely on canned sauces and spices. True this place still uses the old time refried beans, enchiladas and Spanish rice formula (that good old hangover food everyone craves sometimes)but they also have many fresh and novel items which indicates a chef with some adventure. Try at least one of the seafood items and one of the soups (meatball if you are not vegetarian) you will love the daily fresh salsas and homemade chips. Don't forget to have a margarita with the salt and Chile edge! Ole
