My and partner and I stayed here for one night. The room was spacious and the beds had several warm blankets ensuring a warm night. The internet (wifi) was fine, and the include breakfast was delicious. The hostel is a 15 min walk from the waterfront, which can be challenging if you have large bags. Finally, the staff were a delight and very helpful.

The Greenhouse is a beautiful Sopocachi architecture, full of sunlight and a covered patio/bar and grill and bar that is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Our open kitchen is large and well equiped, ideal for travelers who enjoy home cooking. The Greenhouse offers confortable and affordable accommodation in Sopocachi, the most strategically located neighborhood in La Paz. Free breakfast consists of bread, butter, marmalade and tea, coffee or coca/chamomile infusion.
Excellent value for money. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The only two things I didn't like was that couldn't bring beer from the outside because they sometimes don't have any beer left to sell :)))))) but what can you do AND there are no lockers. On the positive note it is very well situated close to a supermarket and the teleferico and also there are a lot of great restaurants around serving delicious food. Almost forgot that there is a very good kitchen area where people meet. Thank you Sergio and staff. Muchas gracias, I will stay again if I have a chance.

Rooftop hostel offers the infrastructure and comfort of a hotel, with a life style and prices of a quaint hostel. Our seven story building has restaurant, bar, coffee shop, concert hall, game room with pool table, darts and bar/grill. The rooftop has a dominating view of La Paz and a cozy, fun-packed and relaxing atmosphere to take it all in.
The rooftop is a great space to chill. Sergio gave me endless recommendations & help getting around. The staff presence & helpfulness definitely stood out. I loved the big windows to see the city & mountain. The in-house burger restaurant was a treat. Very affordable. Would totally recommend!

The Adventure Brew Hostel lies in a 19th century colonial house located just 5 minutes from the terminal bus station in direction to the historical central district near the San Francisco Square area. We are at a great neighborhood near to many touristic places in La Paz, where you will easily find airport transport, banks, ATMS´s. Hostel services: hot showers, comfortable private and bunk beds with thick duvet covers, great breakfast, free wifi and best craft beer in town to enjoy. We offer special Restaurant with veggie options and breakfast services, also join our famous afternoon BBQ every Tuesdays and Fridays at our rooftop area. Ask for our other events; beer pong games, karaoke nights and more all the other days of the week. For your comfort we also offer all tourist services of La Paz and surroundings. PRIVATE ROOMS WITH BATHROOM MIXED DORMS WITH SHARED BATHROOM BREAKFAST INCLUDED
Reservation on booking didn't work, dirty pillows, noisy rooms, poor breakfast, ... Some things got stolen out of my backpack while it was in the luggage room (i asked the owner before leaving my backpack if it was watched and i got confirmation). The owner is super rude and didn't take any responsibility for the stolen things. The location is not ideal. I would never recommend this place, especially not after my things got stolen & i got insulted by the owner.

No Fear Hostel we make your travel easy and fun we provide lower prices accommodation where guets can rent a bed in a dormitory and share bathrooms.
The bathroom was clean with a hot shower. At the reception we found at any time very friendly people and we were allowed to use our room before checkin time, arriving with a nightbus. Located central, it’s a good base for shopping and exploring the restaurants around. You also find a touroffice in this house, that offered us a good price for cycling the deathroad (we compared with two other companies. The breakfast was simple.

We stayed at Hostal Bellavista for 2 nights in total: one before and one after our trip to Uyuni and were satisfied with it overall. The hostel is very basic, so you can't expect luxuries and for the price that wouldn't be fair to expect anyway. We saw 2 different rooms (both on the first floor) and liked them overall. There is no heating in the rooms and hot water only runs for a limited amount of time (but you can stretch it as I experienced). Single glazing didn't make that any better and in Sep/Oct it was relatively cold. Luckily, however, you get lots of bedding. We were also pleasantly surprised to have received a room for 4 even though we only booked one for 2 persons. The view in our first room was at the Teleferico while the second night was towards the bus station. A little bit of noise was there but nothing too much. The location is honestly excellent! We ended up using the bus station 4 times in total (arriving in La Paz, leaving for Uyuni, returning to Uyuni, and leaving back to Peru) and couldn't have wished for anything more. The walk to the bus terminal is still a little difficult due to the altitude if you haven't acclimatised yet. Laundry is really cheap and fast and the hotel was nice enough to keep our luggage in a secured area for us on the final day as we were visiting La Paz all day before leaving for the bus back to Peru. Overall excellent location and a decent basic hostel. If you're not used to getting out of your comfort zone, don't stay here.

So, hi again is that time of the year when I can write about hotels and hostels...yes, I'm on vacation mode...and this time I went to Bolivia, Isla del Sol. Beautiful place, very quiet and if you like nature you will love it. I spent the night in this beautiful place Inti Wayra, my room #8 the one with he most spectacular view of the Lake Titicaca, the room is very nice, the decoration loveeeed it. There is a book where you can leave your comments (I asked for a sign on the house), the person who is in charge, José, very nice man. He made me an amazing breaksfast and a coca tea to die for. This is a very very good option if you want to stay there.

Come and enjoy your stay in La Paz in the Hostal Iskanwaya located in the city center, few blocks to The San Francisco Church and Witches Market
I was in La Paz for a little under two weeks and stayed at several places. Iskanwaya was where I decided to return to for my final nights as I found it to be the best value and best service of all. First of all, Rodrigo, the proprietor, is the man. Anything you need, whether it's a piece of advice, some help hailing a taxi, information about covid testing, restaurant recommendations, teleferico directions, etc etc etc, he has got you covered. He was always there for me, ready to whatsapp a restaurant for a reservation or to schedule a taxi to take me to a faraway destination at an odd hour. I've never met such a professional and dedicated hostelier! Besides the service, the location is fantastic and the rooms are great. Imagine walking out the front door to the hostel surrounded by a fresh flower market every morning. It's exactly the sort of scene you love to see traveling the world. The beds are new and comfortable, the pillows are fresh, the shower is hot, the towels are fluffy, the breakfast is robust, and the wifi is strong. What more needs to be said? It's the perfect place to be.

La Paz is the highest capital city in the world and an essential stop for anyone following the classic “gringo trail.” A frantically busy cosmopolitan city, La Paz takes some time to grow on people, but once you discover its charms, you’ll be very glad you visited. It’s a city full of interesting history and culture to explore, as well as a convenient base for trips and excursions further afield in Bolivia such as the Uyuni Salt Flats or the Amazon jungle. Our hostel is located right in the heart of the historic center of La Paz. As the home of the highest Irish bar in the world at 3600 meters, Wild Rover offers some of the best parties in the city and a great place to socialize with people from all over the world. For sports lovers, Wild Rover is also the best spot to watch live sports on TV in La Paz. All GAA, football, NFL, NBA, MLB, AFL, UFC, boxing, golf and all other games are played live on our huge screens. Once it’s time to go to bed, you’re sure to get a good night’s sleep
I recommend this hostel alot! Amazing bar staff and volunteers and vibes.Thankyou to Sergio and William for the unforgettable experience and thanks to all the friends i made. The rooms and showers where clean.

Today one staff member got slapt in the nek to help a backpacker. This is NOT ACEPTABLE! the staff here is one of the most friendly and helpfull staff i encountered. What the manager did was clearly to show hos power over the staff member and that was really unexeptable. They work hard and are really lovely. I hope something gets done cause otherwise the hostel is perfect!(THANKS TO THE STAFF!!!)
