We stumbled across this place and were so pleased we tried it. The local Canarian food was excellent and the staff really friendly and welcoming. Try the conejo con salmorejo (rabbit in garlicky sauce), it's delicious. Would definitely return!!

Situated within the Victoria Hotel at the same address. Tel. no. is:<br>922.33.16.83
We stumbled upon it almost by mistake and we were happy to have done so! We visited at lunch time and took the lunchspecial option which was great value for money. Open kitchen producing great, thought through food in atmospheric environment. Good service. Would recommend.

We have ordered "Canary Menu" and the soup wasn't bad (except we didn't get spoons from waitress - needed to take them by own) but potatoes were disgusting. This (soup and 6 potatoes + drink) costs us 10 eur. First time both of us returned full plates. Maybe we were just unlucky but for sure I won't recommend this restaurant.

Really great find. Staff welcoming and friendly. Food was extremely tasty and very well priced. Loved the apple and garlic dip and hubby the chorizo one which accompanied the bread.
Hubby had goat stew which was tender falling off the bone in a delicious sauce which had a nice amount of heat. It came with roasted potato cubes.
I had the pork (carne fiesta) which had a lovely flavour and cooked perfectly. It was accompanied with home made thin chips and i ordered the apple and onion sauce to accompany. Ill be trying the sauce at home in future!
All of the above plus two coffees, two bottles of water for €23.70!!

We visited this restaurant twice. We stayed in La Oratava, in northern Tenerife, because we wanted a true reflection of the 'real Tenerife' and this restaurant beat any other we visited by a wide margin. Don't be put off by the side street location and low profile frontage. The eating area is unpretentious but spotlessly clean, as is the kitchen.
The menu comprises an extensive range of local dishes (yes, and there is an English translation too!) but if you want burger and chips its not for you.
Personally, on each occasion I stuck to the specials\recommendations board for all my choices which the waiter explained in a very good attempt at English (far better than our Spanish). The food was fantastic especially, the locally caught fish and sauces, which were really delicious (as were the locally sourced meat dishes such as goat and rabbit).
Although none of us speak any Spanish worthy of conversation, all of the staff (owner, waiter and chef) were friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly helpful. A couple of our party have serious food intolerance's to various ingredients (e.g. garlic and onions) which for others are essential flavourings - the staff fully understood our requirements and prepared our orders individually - absolutely brilliant!
The cost per person for a full dinner including starters, main meal, (desert if you could make that far) and superb local wine, averaged approximately 25 euros per person.
Overall: extensive choice, delicious Canarian food, friendly and helpful staff and all at a very reasonable cost. Fantastic!

Pleasantly surprised when myself, my husband and brother in law dined here. The mojitos were the best I've had. Although the wait staff seemed over worked and busy they still took care of us. Great appetizers and entrees, went back again later in the week since we enjoyed it so much. The tiramisu is fantastic! Highly recommend eating here!

Near to the trout farm and at the foot of the Los Organos Mountains on the edge of the Teide National Park this a very friendly Canarian refreshment stop.Although their English is limited the family that run the place make guests very welcome. It is very popular with walkers and is only 100m away from the bus (345) stop. The food (some cooked over a wood fire) is excellent and the cuisine is Canarian. The prices are very reasonable and gofio is supplied for free! It is worth trying. The garden is beautiful and contains all sorts of fruit and herbs.
A wonderful experience enhanced by a good walk in the Mountains beforehand.

A lounge bar with a difference, stunning views while relaxing on a selection of chairs, stools, loungers and beds with fantastic art dotted around, held over multiple levels, some with sand floor for a beach like experience. The cocktails are also very good with a wide choice available.
Getting there is an experience as there is a Landrover that takes you back and forth from the car park.
Its a lounge experience like no other, if your in north Tenerife, pay it a visit.

We are on the road up to the Teide National Park and overlooking the Valley of La Orotava. Restaurant of traditional Canarian and international food, specialists in picoteo menus and grilled meats. All our menu is gluten free and competitively priced.
We went there for a very late lunch after we visited Pinolere 2017 based on TripAdvisor reviews. We wanted something authentic and we had it.
I was impressed with the staff: even they spoke very little English and we speak very little Spanish, they made every effort to communicate (they even wanted to use Google Translate).
They serve bread without gluten, a big plus in my opinion.
The choice of the menu is not very big, but the food was good and very cheap (the soup of the day was 1.25 euros, the cheapest I found on the island). The desserts were home-made and very good.
They let us stay one hour after the closing time (they didn't tell us anything) while they were eating dinner on the ground floor.
All in one, a nice, quiet experience after a busy day at Pinolere fair.

The view, service and food are all above and beyond. The waiter took the time to explain everything to us in English and recommended an exceptionally unique and well paired wine to our meal.
