Arrived late in Andorra after a long drive from Toulouse, so I wanted a good meal. Really did not disappoint. Had the wild mushroom salad with foie gras, the salmon carpaccio and the escargots. The lady owner was very delightful, explaining the menu to me even though I could tell she was rather tired of repeating the same thing to every customer.
The restaurant had a cosy setting, and it was split into two sides, one with the bar. I was seated in the one without the bar, which was much quieter. The food was excellent, and there was both French and some Catalan dishes.

Excellent homemade lentil stew and best olive oil with bread. We dine at Can Manel once every three months or so and we throroughly enjoy the food and the warm family service every single time. They never fail at delivering their best quality food every time we are there and that's why we come back for more knowing exactly what to expect. Enjoy!

As another reviewer has said eat/drink whatever Henrik recommends! We hunted this place down after doing a search on trip advisor for the best place in La Massana and we weren't disappointed.
Lovely quaint décor, quirky and interesting. We went for lunch which was very quiet but it meant that we got the best of Henrik's advice.
We had broad beans with local ham and black chorizo to start which were delicious, hubby had the Catalan onion soup which was a thin ish soup with a big cheesy crouton on top, also very good. Then hubby had a steak, which Henrik advised not to add a sauce to (he was right!) and I had duck and foie gras ravioli all washed down with a really good local red wine that Henrik recommended.
We even stayed on to try some of Henrik's wifes homemade chocolate cake with chocolate sauce, which was probably the most chocolately dessert I've ever had! I could feel my teeth dissolving from the sugar ;) but it was worth it.
Definitely worth tracking this place own if you want an authentic meal!

Delicious home cooked food, using the finest ingredients. Interesting and unusual dishes from around the world served in a friendly village restaurant with stunning mountain views.
We had a fabulous time with the Chef/Owner and his partner.
The food was well cooked and presented with a delightful wine selection to compliment it.
The conversation with the hosts was equally as enchanting as the conversation with our hosts for the evening. We liked it so much we went for dinner there on two consecutive nights including for our 5 year anniversary. Highly recommend it!

Traditional Andorran cottage where to eat well. We offer mountain cuisine, grilled meats and fine wines. Quality cuisine in idyllic setting with stunning views.
Party of seven, restaurant 40% full and extremely slow service. Had to change wine three times because they only had two bottles of the first wine and one of the second. Never mentioned if beforehand. Waited forever for the main dish only to be told that the lamb takes 45 mins and that they could serve it earlier but it would not be properly cooked (?). The 45 min wait was never mentioned when ordering. Had five starters to share, six main dishes and four desserts. 50 EUR per person.
Used to be an excellent address in Sispony. I am afraid, it can no longer be recommended. Maybe with time they will get better although they don't seem to be aware of their own (lack of) quality. In the meantime, avoid.

Tl;dr: DELICIOUS food, 2 hours having lunch and funny waiter. I'll come back.
The restaurant is quiet hidden and the decoration pretty old-fashioned.
The waiter is really funny and you can perceive that he has a lot of experience.
The restaurant is little having room for about 20 people.
Talking about food... gorgeous I had the best Risotto I've ever tasted in my life. I also had a delicious piece of meat. And the couland, eventhough it wasn't perfectly cooked it was delicious anyways.
We spent around 2 hours having lunch, but we were very comfortable and had eaten very good.
If I come back to Andorra, I'll surely come back.

A delightful and relaxing setting lends itself to an amazing meal with wonderful service. Fabulous starters of veloute with wild mushrooms and Iberian ham, and a carpaccio of shrimp and citrus. Followed by duck confit with red fruits and an amazing raviloil with truffles. Lovely choices of local wines. This is a place not to miss if you visit Andorra.
Thank you for such a lovely lunch!

We found this restaurant by chance when all the others around were fully booked and we couldn't be luckier.
The staff, two Portuguese waiters, were amazing, super helpful, explaining the dishes, giving suggestions about the food and wine and they gave us the best possible experience. We went there twice.
As for the food, we can't speak highly enough. We tried typical Andorran food and both times it was simply delicious. We've been in other typical restaurants and they're good, but this one is way better imo. It's not the cheaper restaurant but definitely worth every cent.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and I'm pretty sure I'll be back next time I'm in Andorra.
