A quaint little coffee shop that also sells sandwiches and ice cream. Not the type of place you would expect in a small railroad town like Last Junta. The coffee is excellent and the decor is charming. Well worth the visit. They have ice cream too!

This tends to be the number one option when my husband and his family want to get together--usually for lunch. The food is tasty and the waiters are charming. They're quick with refills, which is great for my coffee addiction. My mother-in-law enjoys the iced tea, and that says a lot. Considering the area, the prices are unbeatable.

Well, you have pretty much two options for Donuts in La Junta. So, why not support the local business. Way better than Safeway!

We are a family owned restaurant with recipe's that have been handed down for 3 generations. We have been in operation for 17 years. We have great Mexican Food as well as desserts such as Tres Leches, Cheescake and Sopapillas. We are rated as 1 of the top 12 Mexican restaurants in Colorado by " Only in Your State", Colorado. We have a wide selection of beer, and tequila. As well as mixed drinks and fantastic Margarita's. We do not accept debit or credit cards. However, we do accept local checks.
It's off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood. Locals gave us the recommendation and we were delighted. Servers - and owner, I believe - were very attentive and food was excellent. Get there early, as it fills up, even on a week night.

My wife and kids loved Lucy's. As we waited in line, the locals raved about the food, ratcheting up our expectations. Everyone in our party inhaled their food, in particular the carne asada tacos. One note: the best churro flavors are regular and cream cheese. (Strawberry and caramel aren't nearly as good.)

After an extended absence associated with a fire, Bamboo is back to being the lunch and dinner hub downtown. The restaurant has all new furnishings in an expanded dining room. New features include televisions and a takeout counter. The food is good as it ever was and now that they've settled in, service is back up to speed. Staff are always friendly and they are genuinely good people. Bamboo is again a regular stop for eating out. Prices continue to be reasonable so what's not to like?

We love it here! Food, atmosphere and staff is all amazing! We enjoyed the shrimp and fish dinner, along with the Rocky Mountain Oyster dinner! The Green Apple Moscato Sangria drink was very refreshing after a hot day! Take a look at the numerous choices on the menu, then top it off with a wonderful dessert! I highly recommend eating here!

We ordered dinners of chicken fried steak & baby back bbq ribs, both included a trip to the salad bar. It was the BEST salad bar ever! Waiter gave us ice cold salad plates & all the condiments were cold & fresh including cottage cheese, chopped egg, & lots of veggies ( mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber, + more ) with sunflowers seeds or croutons for salad toppers. We choose their blue cheese dressing which was very tasty! All & all a good meal at a most reasonable price! Do eat here when visiting La Junta, you will want to return!

Standard chain fare. Salad was good as was the soup. Certainly no atmosphere. Service was a little too slow. Convenience to the KOA is the attraction.

This chain restaurant opened up in La Junta a few months ago and is seeing large numbers of people eating there! If you love barbecue you will love Dickey's. The food is delicious and the sides are equally yummy! They are pretty fast at serving (cafeteria style order at the counter and they bring it out). And the prices are decent for a family. We bought the picnic pack (feeds 4) and enjoyed snacking later on. The staff is great and we can forsee eating there regularly. The only thing I did not like was the bread rolls. But maybe that is just me.
