You're spoilt for choice at La Grande-Motte as there are restaurants and bars everywhere. We picked L'Iceberg because of previous positive comments on Trip Advisor and we were very pleased with our decision.
A large group of us (12 adults and 3 toddlers) descended on the place and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were just fantastic, friendly and attentive, helping us with translation and selection of dishes and attending to the children as quickly as possible.
The 3 course menu at 17€ is great value, especially for La Grande-Motte, and the food is very tasty, although several in the group were a bit disappointed with the mussels, especially the ones from Brussels, where moules and frites reign supreme.

Went there as part of a group booking. I had been before and was disappointed then. I think their own friends must be doing the reviews on TA as it's really not good at all. No flavour and strongly suspect everything is shrink-wrapped/frozen/pre-prepared. The service was fine but that's about it.

We were all famished when we rolled up at this restaurant at 19:00.
The restaurant took a little while to get up and running and service was adversely affected but when the food did arrive it was well presented and we all thought it was delicious.
However other than the food there is not much to say about the restaurant. There is a lot of outside Seating but although the restaurant is near the beach there are no views of the sea.
If you're looking for good japanese food at a reasonable price then this is the place to go. If you're looking for some spark to go along with the food then this is not ideal for you.

Restaurant Ostréicole -Mon métier, ma passion la mer . Spécialisé dans les coquillages et crustacés . Plateau à consommer sur place ou à emporter . Réservation recommandée . Du producteur au consommateur
This is one of those areas that tripadvisor suckers you in because this is not really a restaurant. The sell seafood. A lot of seafood. And you can sit down and eat it. And get a glass or two of wine. But if you don't want seafood, then you have come to the wrong place.
The basic dish is a seafood platter for two to share: 12 oysters, six langoustine; 6 whelks; a couple of tiny (inedible) crabs; 6 (very poor) mussels; a few cockles; some lemon and aioli sauce. But thats it. You can have other dishes, but they will be just some of the above. And it is all cold.
It is a reasonable place for lunch but this is NOT A RESTAURANT.

Had some tapas and a nice glass of wine with friends. Service was perfect. I will definitely go back and I can easily recommend the restaurant to everyone

We enjoyed the calming out-of-season scenery at the Sunset restaurant this March, which is placed right in front of the beach with stunning view of the sea. We were very satisfied with the meals - beef on stick and French fries, and salmon with vegetables....MoreThank you for your lovely words. We were glad to have you like guests and hope to see you soon in our establishment. L'équipe Sunset LGM

The restaurant is located on the edge of another restaurant, and is surrounded by clear plastic rollup curtains...there are maybe 8 or 10 tables at most in a very confined space...everything being of plastic picnic type. Although the owner and staff were very friendly, it was obvious that many of the food components were pre-made and not fresh!! As food seemed to be dry and lacking in flavor.
We did not try the Russian specialties, saw a few being served which did not appear to be impressive, but we had a mixed seafood special of the evening, which was very very lackluster and conservative in quantities
or quality....very commercial and not real fresh. The Marmite of seafood was
petite and not that good at all...the other side bowl of orange something??
was curious and not good.
The Grand Salad Gourmand that one person had, was a bit sparse also on its contents, and not the best we have had at other restaurants.
Our dessert which was supposed to be a Crème Caramel, was a curious
pile of whipped cream in the middle of the bowl, surrounded by a commercial
caramel sauce out of the jar, with a few nuts sprinkled on top....what exactly
was this??? not a Crème Caramel that we are accustomed to being served!!
The non existent ambience certainly did not line up with the price of the
meals....I would not recommend this place....we have dined in restaurants throughout the Grande Motte for several years, and this one is far from being
at the top of the "best" list. We are very surprised at the glowing reviews and
I am suspect of the reviewers experiences in fine dining????

Went there as part of a group and we had cocktails and tapas which were tasty enough but not very 'refined'. We then had dinner next door but when we came back for the 'dancing' part of the evening, the music was too loud so I left. Perfect party place if you are young - nice atmosphere, good service, simple tapas and 'charcuterie' sharing plates

It offers the most incentive home-made tapas. Here you can find the authentic Chinese food, the Thailand dishes, other typical Asia flavours, and also outstanding French meal. It is perfect for those who want to try everything in one stop! All are outstanding!
We have been attracted to this nice and cool place by good reviews… We can confirm those reviews : amazingly homemade and good dishes ! We enjoyed "Degustation" plates. We were sitting on the small but very comfortable and nice Terrace (colored and cool !! ). Very kind welcome and perfect service throughout the diner ! Restaurant is located in a calm place very close to the Port and crowded other restaurants ! Everything was very good and very fairly priced… Desserts were equally fresh and super good !! Our daughters (11 and 18) did really enjoy the place also !! Less than 80€ for 4 this is excellent value for an excellent and refreshing experience…

As an American living in France, it has been very frustrating trying to find a decent burger. The key element for me is the bread. Most places use the most disgusting processed bread because they are trying to copy McDonalds' bread. This is insanity. We are in France people! Use your awesome bread!
Rant over. Gourmet Burger has 2 types of bread to choose from and they come from a boulangerie and are made specifically for their burgers. This makes all the difference.
The rest of the burger was good too. I had the très très bon. The fries were quite good as well.
Price is just right. I'm used to being charged quite a bit more in so called burger restaurants in Nice for a sub par burger.
We had our burgers to go, but the service was friendly all the same
Good Job Guys!
