We dine out regularly and were really excited to be coming back to Paris and this restaurant particularly. The standards of hospitality and customer service are outstanding but relaxed so you immediately feel welcome. The ingredients are skillfully blended to give new creations every time. Starters were fresh langoustine followed by beautiful cod with a chorizo cream sauce...I chose the dessert of the day which was strawberry and mint soup which was perfect and refreshing on a warm evening. It will be top of the list for our next visit to Paris. Thank youHi, A huge thank you for your amazing feedback. We are honored to be on the top of your list :)We are doing all our best to satisfy our clients & your opinion is keyWe hope to see you soonBest regardsLa Perle de l'Ecailler

Named in homage to Napoleon's favourite emblem, the bee, the French gastronomic restaurant L'Abeille offers sophisticated cuisine created by Chef Christophe Moret, awarded 2 Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide.
My wife and I are in Paris on vacation and food is always an important part of any trip we take. I did a lot of research on restaurants prior to our arrival in Paris and we had lofty expectations for LâAbeille. The restaurant did not deliver, especially for one with two Michelin stars. The level of service was just off this evening. The waiters were running around all evening and just couldnât keep up with the number of patrons in the dining room. We had to make repeated requests to get our check and routine tasks like taking away our plates when finished and refilling water glasses were not fulfilled. Now the food.... While the presentation was very good, the meal was not only unmemorable but the flavor profiles were terrible and the food was bland. Yes, the prices were very high ($75 euros for an appetizer and $90 plus euros for an entree) but we donât have a problem with this as long as the meal is fantastic. I canât understand why this restaurant has any Michelin stars. I would really like to say good things about our experience but I cannot. We would certainly not return.Dear Std63nyc,Thank you very much for your lovely review on our Tripadvisor page following your dinner in our two Michelin starred restaurant LâAbeille. Please accept my personal apologies. We would like to exchange with you. Please feel free to contact Joseph Desserprix, The Restaurant Director, by email at [email protected] sincerely hope to welcome you back soon.Best regards,Guy BertaudGeneral Manager

Our lux isn't in the layout of the restaurant, that's however pretty and clean; Our lux is the quality of our plates.
This was sadly a big disappointment. Restaurants and great food experiences plays a huge part while traveling. We booked a 150⬠per person menu for New Years Eve and it went wrong from the first dish. First they came out with only one appetizer, then 2/4 of the appetizers where wrong and we had to return them. After 30 min they asked us if we wanted to skip the appetizers and we said no. After 20 more minutes they came out with our main course after all and 3/4 persons finished their meal before the last one finally got theirs. The last main course was a tuna filet with pistachio crust. This is a dish I order every time I go to Italy so I know how it should taste like. This was the driest tuna filet I ever had. The restaurant it self was very loud and busy, we could hardly talk to each other. Yes it was New Years, but combined with the rest of the disappointing experience itâs sadly to say that itâs not something I would ever recommend. After our main course we decided to leave even before dessert. We got a discount for the meals we didnât receive. So I guess thatâs one positive thing. Itâs true that 2 starters wasnât arrived, but is new years eve dinner and is always possible.Otherwise, linguine with lobster was disappointing?Tuna finet was dry?We cook tuna filet rer so is impossible dear sir.Your wife gave me 2 kisses when you gone, maybe because she understood difference between me and you.Happy new year
