My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Lovechild! From the elegant dining room to our last bite of dessert, we were nothing but dazzled! Besides our fabulous table, the servers were extremely attentive, and the food far exceeded our expectations. To complete our experience, the owners even came to our table to personally greet us! Before our table was cleared, we were planning our next visit!

The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern features seasonal American cuisine in a casual fine-dining setting. Full service outdoor patio is open three seasons with roofing system that allows enjoyment rain or shine. Happy Hour Monday through Friday and live entertainment weekly.
We attended a wedding at the Cargill Room there and were extremely impressed with this restaurants ability to put out high quality food for 300 people and it was all fresh and hot. The chicken breast was very high quality meat; the salad was fresh, and the mash potatoes were verrrrryyyyy good! I am very particular about the quality of my food and freshness and these guys met and exceeded my expectations.

Start downstairs in the basement bar where the mixologist is an absolute star. Interesting complex and creative aperatifs that will entertain for hours. Next it is upstairs and dinner. Two wonderful bottles of French wine and for me the duck was spectacular. Excellent venue, food, staff, and experience.

Looking for a place with a little personality and fun. Found it at buzzard Billy's. We had great service and excellent food. The seafood jambalaya was fantastic and gluten free!!!. Great location to walk off your dinner, by checking out the local shops nearby.

Absolutely a must do......great atmosphere, great food, wife and I had prime rib which was perfectly cooked with great flavor. Drinks were made like they should be with a good pour...not to weak but not overdone. Our waitress Brittney made it a great night. This place will be a must do on our next visit to lacrosse.

Traveling with my husband for business and we heard so much about Piggy’s so made reservations. Service was good, beautiful place, but the food fell well short of my expectations. We got the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. 4 shrimp, but the BBQ coviering the shrimp...MoreThanks for the feedback Mary. I will make sure the kitchen is following the established recipe for eh shrimp glaze as well as the amount of time the ribs are in the smoker. Thank you again for the feedback, Chris

We had cheese balls for an appetizer, they were very good. Not too much breading. I had the white chicken chili which was very spicy but great, with a burger. All of the food we received was done well, correctly, and quickly. Service was kind...MoreThank you for giving us a great review and for recommending our restaurant to others. I'm sure our entire restaurant staff enjoyed catering to your needs as much as you enjoyed your visit. Take care, Ruby1329!

Traditional Irish pub & eatery located on 3rd and Main in downtown La Crosse, WI. Great place to watch sports, watch live music, hang out with friends, eat delicious food, and participate in good conversation. We're all a wee bit Irish at Dublin Square. Stop in and see for yourself! Recently voted Best Burger in La Crosse. Took Runner-up in Best Bloody Mary, Best International/Regional Cuisine, and Best Outdoor Dining.
Our table tried the beef tips and panfried walleye. Small additional charge for the fish to be blackened but it didn't seem to be seasoned at all, let alone blackened. Mixed vegetables were over cooked and mushy. On a positive note both entrees were piping hot when they arrived at the table, and the generous helping of mashed potatoes and gravy was pretty tasty.

4 Sisters is a family owned restaurant that has been open for 4 years. We are located in the historic downtown Lacrosse across from the Mississippi River. We have a variety of food from tapas, to entrees with a wonderful variety of wine, beer and mix drinks.
We stopped early on a Friday afternoon to enjoy a glass of wine before going downtown. We were staying at the Charmant so this location (in the professional office building next door - go through the riverside entrance for the fastest access - was very close and handy). I had a mixed red/white wine flight and my husband had two glasses of the Crusher (cabernet sauvignon, I think). We enjoyed sitting in a quiet little loveseat with a view of the Riverside Park and also enjoyed the cheese and cracker tasting that came with the wine flight. We hope to return soon!
