We had visited Belicana in the past and were delighted when it moved into Cocotal, where my sister and brother in law have a condo. The food and service are both very good and the location is beautiful. We ate there several times last week during our visit and will definitely return.

The sushi here was better than we expected. The waiter was very pushy, but the busboy, whose name I didn't write down, was excellent. In fact, rather than tipping the begging waiter, we tipped the busboy because we saw him a lot more and he was very friendly. He made the experience enjoyable. The fried ice cream is excellent.
