L’hotel Les Nevons is pleased to welcome you in a quiet, warm and cosy environment. Ideally situated along the river Sorgue, in the heart of the town centre, second-hand trade and antiquities, La Venise du Comtat is a green station in the Provence’s heart. Kindness of the welcoming and mildness of the atmosphere, all the staff will make sure you will have a pleasant stay. With its privileged location, the hotel is the ideal starting point to set out the discovery of the Luberon such as Gordes, Fontaine du Vaucluse and Roussillon. You could, after a day of discovering rest at the swimming pool with a 360° magnificent view on the area. Provence has its paradise in Vaucluse, Pope got their palace in Avignon and gods got their second residence in L’Isle sur la Sorgue.
I stayed here in June 2021 went out for dinner and sadly forgot my room key. On my return the hotel was locked out I was unable to enter or get hold of any of the supposed night staff after 1 hour of doing this by telephone and ringing the bell I returned to the restaurant I was eating at and they kindly let me sleep on their sofa. This hotel states it has a night porter service. In the morning at about 6:30am I went back to the hotel the staff where very rude and offered me a 50% refund which I naturally did not accept. If you stay here make sure you don’t forget your room key

Tucked away in a little lane. Definitely need a GPS to find it quickly. Poor signage on site. No direction to drop off area, just direction to Parking resulting in a long way to carry luggage. In reception we were given our room key, told room was on second floor, and shown the staircase. There isn't a lift. Door at foot of stairs does not shut – jamming on the floor. No offer of help with luggage (we are both over seventy) and no direction where to go when we reached the top of stairs, so we consequently spent a while finding the room which was at the end of a corridor, whilst humping our bags around. The room and bed were OK and clean. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. In the bathroom the bath body wash dispenser was rather bizarrely mounted at standing height at the opposite end to the taps and shower hose, which didn't seem to work either for someone sitting in the bath or someone using the shower hose at the other end. Room had a small balcony that to one side overlooked the rear patio where we dined, and to the other side another parking area and a rather dirty roof patio below. First impression of dining patio was that the requisite number of tables were clean and had been laid for dinner, although not with tablecloths and candles as per the web site photos. The remaining tables had fallen leaves on them. Grass and weeds were growing through the gravel. Dinner was the set menu (having booked half board). The meal was tasty, but we did notice we were only given one “amuse bouche” item whereas diners choosing from the menu had three. The cheapest bottle of “house wine” was 30 Euros, which seemed a bit pricy in a wine growing area. Lasting impression was that the hotel was lacking maintenance both inside and outside, perhaps understandably in the aftermath of Covid, however this was not the case in the other four hotels and B & B's we stayed in during our travels, hence the rating of “disappointing”.

The hôtel is a 10 min walk from the village the appearance of the building from the outside does not correspond to the great experience that you have inside. The interior of the building is all renovated, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is served overlooking the canal, in a glassed varanda. The owners are really welcoming people that makes you feel at home as soon as you step in. We were able to store our bikes at a safe place which was important for us. Thank you and keep up with the good vibes!

We stayed at the Artishow three nights, is the best "experience" that I had in a Luxury Boutique Hotel. You have art everywhere, I stayed in the Cezanne room, was incredible and unique. it is impossible to describe this place in words. The hosts are superb (thanks for the tips!!!) The breakfast is excellent ! The location is great, walking distance (couple of minutes) to great restaurants and shops. Public parking (free) three blocks. Thank you, I hope to be there again!!!

We stayed for 4 nights at Les Clos and from the moment we arrived the owners made us so welcome, our room overlooked the fantastic pool and the terrace where breakfast was laid out in the morning. Town is about a 10 minute drive and plenty of free parking at the train station, it’s a fantastic place loads of restaurants and bars. There is plenty to see in the area we had a fantastic time exploring the hill top villages of Provence would go back 100%.

We spent a few days there with our 3 daughters (6, 11 and 12) and we all enjoyed our time. Kids clubs are so great that the kids did not event want to have dinner with us. The place is really nice and the accommodations have been revamped recently. All the staff is great.

In a private mansion in the heart of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, city of antique dealers, between Avignon and the Luberon. A secret and authentic spot: La Prévôté, in a former 17th century convent nestles on a small street behind the church. Under its vault, a wrought iron gate shelters from curious eyes this exceptional residence where Séverine and Jean-Marie welcome you. Cosy Wine Bar over the river - Gourmet dining in front of the fireplace in winter or in the inner courtyard in summer - Refined B&B rooms. A place to discover, for a different type of stay, away from the world, where only pleasure is in season.
We arranged our trip through a third party sadly with quite variable accommodation. We stayed at La Prevote twice in our travels, the first in an attic room that was fine accept the sink was in a dark spot thus precluding shaving or make up and you couldn’t easily stand in the bathroom. Fortunately, the second was much more acceptable - a pleasant room with more comfort and a bathroom that worked well. It is an nice little family run hotel in the centre of town with its own courtyard and stream; and one had a feeling that they cared about your experience. All the family and their staff were friendly, helpful and spoke some English - especially the owners - better than our French. What really stood out, however, was their restaurant. Dinner on our arrival night was a greatest surprise and well worth getting washed and changed for. The menu offered interesting choices, including a degustation, with impressive execution of both the food preparation and its presentation. This must presumably be attributed to the owner-chef who appears to know what he is doing. La Prevote has been one of the two best meals we have eaten in Provence to date (we are still travelling). Service is gentle, informal but attentive. Breakfast was also another unexpected surprise. This provided residents with a wide choice of fresh and warm breads, croissants (including pan du chocolat), jams and local honey, cold meats, eggs, cereals and yoghurts. These were all of the highest quality. Service exemplary. A wonderful experience overall. FYI they also do lunches but they do not cook on Tuesday’s or Wednesdays which is not surprising considering the obvious daily workload of the chef. A great little find. I would certainly return there for a week if I had the opportunity and L’Isle sur la Sorgue is a good place from which to explore the Luberon.

We had a great stay ! Felt like sleeping in a museum- an anthropology one! Everything was soooo well designed - from the large to the the little details. It is perfectly located, and we got a warm welcome by Frederic- who cared for us and was friendly and charming. The items around the place are for sale and can be shipped anywhere. We definitely marked the La Maison Sur la Sorgue as a place to come back to!
