Our group of 3 were the only ones staying that night We had the evening tour with the resident Astronomist, who was very nice, very good at english, and his enthusiasm showed in his tour. The tour ward completely in english, i guess it was because all 3 of us are foreigners. The onsen ( stone hot spring) was nice but quite small, maximum 2-3 people at a time, and requires booking if there were more guests. But since it was just us 3 we could use it freely Unfortunately it was super cloudy on the night we visited, and so we were able to see much with the telescope. However the resident astronomist showed us a lot of interesting things in the planetarium and the amazing photos that he took of the night sky Food is pretty good. Staff were really helpful arranging for our transport ( we didnt drive)

Hotel provides Complimentary flow drinks;juice, coffee n tea and bicycle as well. Everything is perfect. Walking distance to Yufuin main attractions. The buddhist monks and nuns in China, Korea, Japan never eat flesh of meats. So if you wanna a vegetable meal, you need to come to buddhist temples or specific vegetarian restaurants. Here is too. All food is good and delicious, vegetable. Even they can make it different from origin vegetables. Some has the flavor of meats. Anyway... if you come to Fukuoka, must visit here. It’s the best choice for vegetarians and someone who wanna be healthy!

We had a great time here. The owner was very friendly and we really appreciated his recommendations for the area. Also the shower includes a beautiful bath area :))) highly recommend. It’s not the most spacious accommodation but it’s worth it...

A dining room, a kitchen, living, a refrigerator, You can use it . I prepared for the room Ashley's queen-size bed. Lighting and furniture imported. Teatime is carried out, looking at a Mottyom mountain on a terrace, or it goes into the open-air bath of the quality of an alkaline spring containing radon, metasilicic acid, etc., -- Please relax slowly.
After travelling in south western Japan for a while this was a perfect place to relax, the gardens are lush, beautifully laid out and have great mountain views, the outdoor spring fed bath took the relaxation to a higher level! The house itself is a lovely, comfortable well crafted building, we dined in, enjoying the quiet evenings, the kitchen has everything you'd need and the Acoop supermarket in nearby Anbo is well stocked. If you don't hire a car it's an easy walk from the bus stop to Hana Mana and the bus service is, as you'd expect, very good. If you enjoy gardens you'll love Hana Mana and you'll enjoy the Botanical Research Park, just a stroll down the road.

The property is very easy to locate and has ample free parking. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. Very nicely prepared, arranged and delicious. The rooms were pretty good. Comfortable but not overly spacious. The onsen was pretty good as well. Personally did not enjoy the type of water that was in the bath as it was very different feeling to other baths but it was nice to have a rotemburo outside. Owners were very understanding when we had to spend the day in the hotel rearranging our itinerary and flights to head back to Canada due to Covid-19. The town itself, we were not super big fans of. We could see how many would like it but it really didn't hold much interest to us. And sorry but Kinrin Lake is a pond, not a lake. Liked the hotel but don't think we will return to Yufuin in the future. Thanks for all your kindness during our stay with you.

We spent a day with Kuni Kumamoto and visted the Myoban Hot spring area, Jumonji baru look out point, several Hells including Blue Sea, Monk's Head, Oven and Red Pond Hell, had lunch at Emma Restaurant (where we cooked our own food using a steam oven!). He speaks very good English, is a delightful person, very knowledgeable about Beppu. He picked us up at the Port at 10am and we were back at the ship by our return time of 3pm. We would definitely recommend him! His e-mail is [email protected]
