Things to do in Margate
Good food always freshly prepared. Huge helpings, always enough left for a doggie bag! Friendly service, but a bit of a wait in holiday season due to demand.

Pathetic management! Completely understaffed! Smells of smoke! Unfriendly drunk surroundings! Iâd feel more at ease during a heavy metal concert... Please guys, donât make clients wait 45 minutes for drinks and 2 hours for a damn sandwich... Nevertheless, donât piss on them further by using a donkey as a distraction for the tiresome wait...

We were welcomed by very friendly staff, service was good. Lovely decor and had a great friendly atmosphere. The food wasn't bad but not the best fish and chips I have had,we tried both grilled and fried. The prices weren't bad at all I felt we got value for our money. I would go back again.

We were very enthusiastic about this restaurant, went there and were disappointed. The name itself is giving you a vibe that its a surfer style restaurant and cool people work there with a typical South Coast way of speaking. Totally not the case. The service was extremely slow and the restaurant was not even busy. The waitress looked like she was having a really bad day, rolled her eyes a lot and did not listen when we ordered. The drink orders arrived and it was not quite what we asked for. We received another tables food, but we did not even get a chance to order food yet. The menu had a difference in fries with the burgers, but both plates came to the table looking exactly the same. We asked about the fries and were told that's how the kitchen made it. The waiters are not familiar with their menus. There was a person in uniform sitting smoking and being on his cell. I am not very likely to return. Its sad because I had high hopes for this restaurant. It has loads of potential, but needs work. The balcony with a view of the ocean is a nice touch.Good DayI am so sorry to hear about your disappointing experiencePlease would you be so kind as to email me your contact number so we can discuss the matter [email protected]

There is ample parking although we walked from the Wailana Lodge. The beach from that side is accessed via a small park and boarded paths. The building is a delight with hanging paraphernalia and quirky notices. Menu is not excessive but enough to suit most tastes.Service was a little slow but the end result was a really tasty steak. The chicken schnitzel also gained rave reviews. Worth a visit with the added bonus of sunset and waves.

your typical type of pub, plenty of drinks to choose from & bar food also. good atmosphere, bit busy on the visit due to the rugby but all good nonetheless. Staff friendly & free wifi (but you have to ask for the password)
