tried phoning for a pizza on 13/03/2018. Phone not answered first time around. Eventually get through only to be told after checking with chefs that the kitchen was closed already- strange, I thought closing time was 9pm as I had been told many times before. In any case this has never been an issue ever before until today when the laws of physics made one complete 180 flip and a wood fired pizza oven instantly gets cold.I have always enjoyed your pizzas and support you as often as I can afford and on the rare chance I can finish work before 9pm I like to sit in front of a good series after work with one of your pizzas.Pity this will never happen again....Good Day Mr RexThank you very much for taking the time to write a review about VdeV. While it is greatly disappointing to receive a review of this nature, it certainly does provide us with much food for thought as well as the opportunity to learn from the errors made and hopefully improve on any and all future dining / take out experiences. We, here at VdeV, pride ourselves in delivering to you a premium product in a comfortable environment accompanied by efficient and friendly service. I do apologise as we were clearly not able to deliver on these promises, I certainly agree that we have to stick to hour kitchens operation hours and for this I do apologise, I will be bringing this matter up with our chef to ensure this does not happen again. Again my utmost apologies for your less than satisfactory service from us. We havenât visited Iâll Postino for a few years and weâre pleasantly surprised by excellent service and even better Pizzas than before and the hugest and the most innovative selection weâve ever encountered. Weâll be back soon for one of their Sundays with live music.

We on way to JHB and decided to stop here. We grabbed one of their pepper steak pies and a sausage roll. Well it was real steak pieces and real sausage. Absolutely delicious. We added coffee to go and a crispy sweet sneaky sticky bun with cream cheese and it was like a croissant mix with this sweet cream cheese on top. I had chocolate croissant. Well worth a visit better than the stops that have the normal chain restaurants. This is real homemade food 12 out of10
