enjoy the special pork ribs in bali at our place ( Warung Chef Bagus )
First time we came here, maybe 4ish in the afternoon, we were turned away cause they had run out of food.Instead of thinking that they had poor stock management, we thought "It must be that good!"Came back early the next day and they did not disappoint. Food was amazing !Some of the best that we have had in Kuta. Fairly cheap too!So good that we decided to book in for their cooking class the week after !

We came across this little family run restaurant and it was perfect for us. Wonderful local food but also great western food for the kids. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. We loved it so much we returned 3 times. When you find something that ticks all the boxes, why try anything else. Very happy customers and highly recommend

Savour Japanese delights like teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi at Tepan Noodle. Seafood and noodle infused with Asian flavours and cooking styles are also available on the menu. Located next to the swimming pool, and with an outdoor terrace sitting on the be
We have been coming here for 15 years or so, usually staying at Discovery and spending many a dinner at Tepan. We keep coming back because the atmosphere of the restaurant, against the fabulous Discovery gardens is beautiufl. And the food was second to none because the chef was Japanese. This trip unfortunatley (we've been told a change in Management?) we have been so disappointment with the food in both the KuKi Bar and Tepan. Calamari in both places you could have bounced off the floor; food overcooked and Tepan Chef is not Japanese (But we were told Indonesian) which is obvious in their efforts to create Japanese food. The meat and seafood (which was frozen!!!) were tough and overcooked and relied heavilly on a very sweet sauce to try and make something of the hot grill bbq. Never again. Sorely disappointment. Staff you can't fault - they are wonderful and personable. Management needs to up their anti and supply top products (and perhaps secure a chef experienced in Japanese flavours and cooking techniques because you do advertise yourself as a Japanese restaurant).Dear Dani0209,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent experience at Tepan Noodle Restaurant. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we're very sorry you were unhappy. We will share this feedback with our team so that we can continually improve our guest experience.Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and I hope that you will find it in your heart to return for a much better experience.Best Regards,Nurna DwiatiMarketing Communications Manager

Did not end up with any good experiences the last few trips when I got the drivers to recommend sunset seafood dinner at Jimbaran. Relied on TripAdvisor's reviews this time round & visited the highly rated & recommended Bawang Merah Beachfront restaurant (against my driver's wishes)!!! This restaurant is situated just next to Ibiza Beach Club (very cool & funky) & quite away from the crowds. There were about 10 to 15 tables on the beach front which was pretty cosy and not overly congested, perfect for my family dinner. Pricewise I won't consider it cheap, but the group of 4 adults & 1 toddler, we had the Royal Family Honeymoon package which comes with a large lobster (at least 1 Kg), 1 large grilled snapper, calamaris, 8 large king prawns, 8 clams & 4 juices for about IDR 3 million (inclusive of taxes). Food was very presentable & sufficient for us and we found the seafood delicious. No complaints this time round as the price was agreed with Mr. Gede upon ordering & the food delivered was up to expectations. A good experience finally...

We ate here on 3 different occations in a 7 night period. This place is off the beaten track and only small.Compared to most places we ate, this ws really cheap. We had the nasi goreng and the mei goreng - amazing!!!!!!The only 2 downsides were that the wifi was slow (which i suppose isnt the end of the world) and on 2 occasions, service was slow. But the food was soooooooo good.

From the service to the food, the Kunyit restaurant is a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy amazing food. We had dinner for 2 nights during our stay in Kuta. I can said after trying lots of places with traditional food that here you can have one of the best Balinese food. All of our food was exceptionally tasty. In the 2nd visit we also have the pleasure to see the Balinese dancers and that made the experience more memorable.A special thanks to Suryia for his service and attention for details. We are looking forward to come again!Dear Roxnit,Thank you for your trust to The Anvaya Beach Resort to be at your service during your dine at the Kunyit Restaurant. Decided to try out Warung Mufu after reading reviews on Google Maps. I also like to eat satay a lot and was thrilled to know that they serve it. The first night was really good, the satay was done just right, excellent marination, tender and juicy meat with nice little charred bits. The rice and sides were okay too. The owner was really friendly and I was impressed. The meal including a drink was about 180000 IDR.Thus I decided to go back again on the second night before flying back home. Hoping to wrap up the meal. The chef was conducting a cooking lesson when I visited. I ordered the same Mixed Satay Set and a drink as usual. This time round it was disappointingly bad. The chicken satay was not thoroughly cooked, it was cold inside and raw while the pork satay was barely cooked too. I highlighted to the waiter and he didn't seemed to think it was an issue and asked if I wanted to be cooked. In the end, the waiter took the remaining chicken satay including a half-eaten stick to grill and served it back to me.While I hope to recommend the restaurant for its good food, it is difficult to not take the subpar attitude and inconsistency on the second night into consideration.
