Very priceworthy with an excellent beef with bamboo, the rest great too. Kind and rapid service. They have chinese and Thai kitchen, sushi and a buffe from which You can choose what the chef shall fry for You.

Positive first impression. They managed to find us a table without a reservation on a very busy Friday evening, as there was some happening in the nearby hotel.
Large selection of pizza’s and non-vegetarian dishes on menu, not hard for my wife to choose a pizza. I had the lamb which was nice, but a bit tasteless.
The restaurant was apparently popular among the locals. Good food, friendly service even when staff busy so easy to recommend.

Well they are very friendly even if it gets busy and that it does every day at lunch time. They have a variety of cakes and biskuits, lunch of the day and a variety of sallads, pies and children's meals on offer. The cafe is much like small cafe's I know from UK, situated in a former families home it seems, small and cosy inside but also a Terrace where you can sit on dry days. Only a short walk from Bohus Fästning through the road with all the beautiful old houses.

the stores are scattered all around Guteborg area
This day is a national holiday so many coffee shops opened later than usual. Jerkstrands in Gothenburg was opening as we walked by at about 9.00 and so we stopped for coffee and croissants. There is Seating both inside and on the pavement. As far as we could see there is no at table service. The interior has all the signs of being 'designed' with quite a lot of different genres - a bit of a jumble. The welcome is friendly, the coffee was good, and the croissants were fresh. There was a variety of breads on sale, and some delicious looking cakes. With reference to a previous review, the man in the picture still works there, but he only gave us current currency in our change.

Expensive for that it's worth, and also very little indoor Seating, and no outdoor. So a takeaway. But very close to the town center of Kungälv, and really the only actual Burger Bar there is.

Den här pizzerian är inte speciellt bra. Man känner att det slarvas med kvaliteten på råvarorna. Osten smakar inte alls bra.

Delicious authentic (I love Greece and Greek food) food.
Wonderful friendly service. We visited on a quiet Monday night. However the full menu was available and the food was amazing. Moussaka and I can't remember the name but meatball style in tomato sauce.
very fairly priced, which is hard to find in Sweden and especially near the coast!
Thoroughly recommend and we can't wait to go back!
Lots of smaller tapas style dishes and I think kids and families would like it.

It was a bit difficult to find a place for meeting a friend for lunch on a summer Tuesday in Kungälv, but Älvsmagasinet Hamnkrog & Lounge turned out to be a great choice. Located in an upscale looking residential area, Älvsmagasinet has a large Terrace on the riverfront with views of the town´s old castle, green Forests and .. a highway bridge. Their buffet lunch seems popular but is not available during the summer. We all ate their pulled pork and it was really nice, well prepared and spicy, large portions served with toast, guacamole, nachos and salad. Can recommend this, or the shrimp Sandwich that we saw others order. The location is a bit odd, in the back of a low office building, but this place is absolutely worth the short walk from downtown Kungälv. Also if you want to go out for a drink on the Terrace in the evening, as they have a good selection of bottled beer and other alcohol.

We popped in to see what sort of food they might be offering on a weekday lunchtime, saw the eat-all-you-can buffet (incl a light beer / soft drink, water and unlimited tea / coffee) at a most reasonable 132 kr and decided to stay. A richly varied spread, wonderful salad and herrings, bread etc, all of excellent quality. The reasonably wide choice of hot food looked OK, but we had eaten so much excellent 'healthy stuff' ..........! Wholeheartedly recommended for a weekday lunchtime.

Try the chicken club Sandwich...it's divine! The service is always good in a country not particularly known for service.
