Reviewed By Kirstine1984We stayed here for 2 nights in the studio. The place is lovely situated by the lake. There’s a railway close by, but we only heard the train twice in to days and were not disturbed by it. Everything is nicely decorated, in good shape and super clean. Rooms are good with a nice view to the Lake. Our host was very friendly, welcoming and attentive to us. At breakfast the first morning, we asked for more juice and I didn’t touch my egg as I don’t like it. Next morning when we arrived at breakfast, there was already extra juice and no egg for me (no waste), that’s attention to detail! We would definitively come back.

Reviewed By KarenS488Lovely little hotel at unique location. Very comfortable and clean room with spectacular view on the lake. The hotel is situated on the campsite of Älmhult, so there is plenty to do like: swimming, canoeing, sauna, minigolf, volleyball, large playground for the children…. Breakfast is at the restaurant of the campsite with view of the lake. The owner of the hotel and the lady of the restaurant are very welcoming. Also a great venue for large families or groups, because there are also many cabins for rent in different price ranges. We stayed here twice and we would really recommend this wonderful hotel.

Misleading descriptions, pokey rooms.
Reviewed By Ben JThe accommodation was not well described... The 'cottages' are basically sheds with a bed. There is no toilet or running water in them. Yet there is a kettle, microwave and a coffee machine! Also we turned up at 2125 in the evening to find that the reception was shut, even though its advertised as staying open till 2130. Had to phone booking.com to rectify the issue.

Warm bread in the morning, canoes during the day, a chat at the evening inspection of the camping site. And during check-out concerns about the rest of the trip. Above all: a perfect example of how clean facilities at a camping site can be.

Reviewed By Markus V.... we rented one of the new cottages with bathroom and kitchen, very clean, very good standard for a cottage, only 200 meters to the lake, you can rent canoes if there is not too much wind, take a ride with your bike to the north. ...
