Try the Etliekmek (a kind of meat meter long pizza) and you will not be disappointed. Very attentioned service. They delivered (free of charge) to our hotel some more specialties that we took in the plane back home :-) Prices are ridiculously cheap.

The food was really delicious. Iâve never tried it before. The restaurant was clean you also can sit outdoor. The only served one kind of food . The staffs were kind. They also has a desert named Zarde which i do not recommend. As i tried similar thing in iran named sholezard. The Zarde is tasteless for me. The iranian one cooked with saffron which has a very good smell and taste. But the food was so delicious.

We were a group of meat lovers and vegetarians and both liked the food. There is only one option for vegetarians which is sort of pizza with cheese. It was delicious and so is the âayran-the liquid yogurtâ.The only problem is the bathrooms are old style :(Bizi Tercih ettiÄiniz için teÅekkür ederiz.

It was founded in 1907 on oven kebab and still operates with 2 branches. It is a traditional Konya dish that has been prepared at 11 o'clock, which is cooked at 4 o'clock at night, made from the forearm neck and ribs of a lamb that has not passed the age
The restaurant is a bit back from the street, down a long set of stairs. The lower outdoor terrace seating was very comfortable. The food was delicious, particularly the lamb and the portions were large so that no-one in our party went hungry. I had the best desert of my entire trip here. Make sure to order the Socarasi to end your meal. I hope I can learn how to make it, but I'm sure it won't come out nearly as well.

Set in an industrial estate, surrounded by little factories. It is a very quiet place and full of flies that completely spoil your experience. Meat is gorgeous, but very expensive: 28 lira for 100gr. Served with three slices of bread, no rice, no salad included in the price. Flies really made it unbearable

A one dish restaurant of extreme excellence. If you like slow cooked lamb, you need to visit this place. Served up with fresh pide and a couple of quarters of raw onion, this is like nothing you have ever tasted before. A Konya classic.

One and only in World Seljuk and Mevlevi and Konya Cuisine
We went for dinner after seeing the whirling dervishes. The evening was lovely and the view of the Mevlana Museum was perfect from the rooftop setting in this restaurant. The honeymoon stopped there. There were limited soft drinks. Water or fizzy water. The fresh juice was watermelon freshly pulped by fist and squashed into a glass - Yuk!The young (boy) waiter was good but the middle aged man was dreadful No English and no bedside manner. The Meat Tide was one to avoid unless you enjoy eating lots of bread and yoghurt in your meat dish. The chicken with apricots and dates was fine as was the beef dish (also with dates). The salads were fine but avoid the pickles - yuk.We cannot understand why lovely bread is served cold. Warm it uo!!! We avoided dessert. Definitely a place to try as it is cheap but we would not go back.Thank you very much enjoy your meal

MeÅhur Kebapçı Dedeler restaurant in Konya city old Bedesten bazaar very special Konya Fırın Kebabı restaurant since 1929
Now this is a bit complicated. The entire city is full of places called Kebabci Dedeler 1929, so it is very hard to tell which one is the original.Nevertheless based on the address provided on TripAdvisor, the number of locals eating here and the Turkish text written on the placemats, it seems this place may be the first of its kind.It is important to note that all they do here is Firin Kebab. There is nothing else you can choose from, you basically just decide the gram weight of the kebab you want to eat and you are set.Needless to say, the meat is absolutely amazing. Incredibly delicious, tandir (tandoori) style preparation with very high quality meat. It was a great experience; along with an ayran "fountain" that makes you want to drink liters of the stuff. And thatâs where it gets a bit sad, as we really wanted to give this place a 5/5. The thing is: even though we were in a group with a Turkish native, the service was quite rude, which obviously canât be blamed on communication barriers. We asked for multiple things, which the waiters said they will do, but they never really got around to it. For example even bringing our drinks... it was just one of those cases where we felt that since we are not the customer ordering the most, they donât really care about us. Pity, because otherwise the experience was really good.Oh well, still recommended - 4/5.

This restaurant is on a side street parallel to the main street heading to the Mevlana museum, in the main business area of the town on Serafettin Caddesi (Street). We wandered in by accident as it looked clean and had a fair number of local customers in it. They serve a several foot long skinny pede (a sort or Turkish pizza), and we had the cheese version. There are meat versions also, all served with a tasty red âsalsaâ type mixture of tomato, mint, & parsley. Each order is made fresh in a wood fired oven. Prices very reasonable, not a lot of English spoken, but menu pictures and gestures sufficed. Returned a second time for lunch and enjoyed it as much as the first time. If you go to their website http://www.halketliekmek.com you can see pictures of the food under Menu, and if you read Turkish, figure out what else they offer!
