Reviewed By chiaraterzThis may well be the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed at, I was not surprised when I found out it is where the Emperor stays when he visits Kochi. The tatami-style room was as big as my whole two-person apartment in Tokyo, and had a perfect view of Kochi Castle. I wiled away a good hour sipping tea and looking out the window, very relaxing. There was a huge selection of yukata to wear in the room, but I think it was the baths that really got me. Not only is there a massage chair (again, overlooking the castle) that is free to use, but at night if you press a button THE ENTIRE CASTLE LIGHTS UP!!! I mean seriously, how awesome is that?

Reviewed By HillsCALocation is peaceful, close to ocean. Hotel itself looked fine, even artistic. However, the room was tired, dated, old. It appears to be 40 year old everything in the room. Decently maintained, but old. WiFi does not reach the room. Onsen was ok. Meals were ok, below average.

Reviewed By Victor KWe found this hotel in almost last minute. Moderately priced and reasonably accessible by car. It is located by the river and many hotel rooms have river view. Regrettably we did not book for half board but ordering a la carte was still very good. There are indoor and outdoor onsens which were comfortable but simple. The scenery around was very good indeed.

Located in Tosa, Sanyoso features a garden. A hot spring bath is available for guests. Free WiFi available only around front desk. All guest rooms in the ryokan are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Reviewed By Christian SThe onsen offers an in- and outdoor bath, small but very nice. The room was spacious and clean, the restaurant serves most delicious and fresh seafood, the staff (hotel and restaurant) were very helpful, kind, friendly and courteous. Omotenashi at its best! thank you!

Reviewed By malcolm_flint_jpWe were very much taken by surprise by the restaurant at the resort. Best advice is to eat at a counter seat and pick items from the menu as you would in an Izakaya. Chef Kadotsuji-san is very friendly and gets a special mention for the delicious treats he served up for us.

Reviewed By kt550826建物は４０年近く旅館としては１１年近くと歴史を感じる風情です。 日帰り温泉も兼ねており大浴場・露天風呂・サウナそれぞれクオリティーが高く旅の疲れが癒せました。 夕・朝食もレベルの高いもので大変美味しくいただけました。 スタッフさんも大変フレンドリーで観光案内等も親切に教えてくれました。

木の香温泉 ⇒ 露天風呂とサウナでシャキッとリフレッシュ
Reviewed By amiensjp木の香温泉（このかおんせん）は、高知県吾川郡いの町桑瀬（こうちけんあがわぐんいのちょうくわせ）にある温泉だ。 道の駅木の香に隣接する。 UFO街道にほど近く、登山をしたあとに立ち寄ることも多い。 魅力は、露天風呂と冷たい水風呂だ。 露天風呂からは山の景色が楽しめ、サウナで火照った体をとびきり冷たい水風呂で冷やすと、シャキッと気分が爽快になる。 宿泊もできるので、何度が泊まったこともある場所だ。 運営管理者が変わって料理などが変わったが、温泉は変わりなく気持ちがいい。 この日は木の根ふれあいの森キャンプ場でバーベキューを楽しんだ。 その後、車で木の香温泉にやってきた。 この日は2019年8月16日のお盆の真っ最中と言うことで、駐車場も一杯だ。 階段を上がると、入り口だ。 いの町ではお湯めぐりというスタンプラリーを行っており、この木の香温泉も対象施設になっている。 入り口を入ると、下駄箱がある。 ここに靴を入れ、受付を済ませる。 貴重品ロッカーがあるので、ここに財布などをしまう。 この手のロッカーは100円必要だったりするが、ここは不要なのが嬉しい。 スマートフォンも入れたので、ここから先の写真はない。 サウナに久しぶりに入って、大満足だ。 入浴後、2階の休憩所で休む。 誰もいないのが意外だ。 マッサージチェアなどがあるだけなのだが、くつろげる。 温泉を出て、向かいの道の駅へ。 ここのソフトクリームは濃厚で美味しい。 まったりしている。 外に出て、川を見ながらソフトクリームを楽しむ。 この階段を下りたところは、釣り堀になっている。 お気に入りの温泉だ。 設備は古いがきれいだし、くつろげる。 ハイキングを楽しんだ後には、立ち寄りたい場所だ。
