Excellent for the price
Reviewed By Journey364005Went there for a single night. Big and clean rooms with historical furniture. The breakfast was perfect. I am not sure if this is due to Corona, but it was served directly at the table instead of a buffet. Very good and friendly service. We will come back!

Had some issues with the shower but soon rectified. Big room. Restaurant menu full of local/German dishes. What we had was excellent. Wine list local and we were offered and given samples by our waitress to help us decide. She was very helpful in translating the menu and offering alternatives.

Friendly and good value
Reviewed By Dave RThe owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, dinner good value (and not ridiculously large) and breakfast good. This is a nice village to stay in for a motorway stop-over. Great location on the Mosel.

Reviewed By Markus SWe stood here for one night and were satisfied. The rooms were clean and simple but nicely decorated. Only the mattresses and bedsheets were too warm for almost summer. Breakfast was big and good value for the price.

Reviewed By GES57Having stayed many times in various smaller hotels and apartments along the Mosel our experience of this hotel was a very positive one . Considering the reasonable price and convenient location in walking distance to the main square, trains and Mosel, fairly private parking, a lovely 'beer' garden, which is nice for breakfast too, I would return to the Kupferkanne. The rooms are traditional but all was clean with a well functioning bathroom and the typical German breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful, each morning ask whether we have further wishes for breakfast, discussed the best walking routes, lent us a rucksack and maps, brought more water to the room etc . I can only recommend this place ( who would expect a lift in a 'Landgasthaus'?
