A little gem on Koh Phangan. The greatest nature resort on the Island

I travel a lot in Thailand and have been to many resorts. But the Sea Love Bungalow in Koh Phangan is one of my highlights. On the first day, in the first minute upon arrival, you are warmly welcomed by all of the 3 owners, Dagi, Dirk and Denis. It is indescribable how warm the hospitality is. I can recommend it to everyone who would like to be well and lovingly accommodated. As I am a star chef from Switzerland, I am more than just positively surprised by the top cuisine at the Sea Love Bungalow Resort. It is a great pleasure to be able to eat there, because you don't always have to go to a 5-star luxury hotel to get it. For me a little gem in Koh Phangan

The location is great with nice small restaurants and a home-like feeling to it. There is a very nice market on the same street on Sundays, which was a nice experience as well.

This property is a complex of few apartment situated on a small hill that give a panoramic view from almost all apartments. Modern style in a luxury garden, infinity pool and private beach just a few step away, sund bed, gym, kayak, paddle board, trampoline, Padel court are available on site free of charge. The services apartment is situate on the north of the island close to the authentic fisherman village of Chaloklum, extremely quiet and relaxing residence. All apartment have a well equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast and more. Our neighbor beach, Haadkhom, is very famous for snorkeling and chill, a fews restaurant are there and serve delicious Thai cuisine not hesitate to order a special seafood bbq there!! The treck to "Bottle beach" start just a few minutes from the residence and will take 1h30 to get there, white sand beaches, turquoise water, Thai food... Looking forward for your visit.

Reviewed By monicagE4605FCThis hotel is so comfortable and cozy! There are many rooms and a large villa to choose from.The room I stayed in is big and spacious, with floor to ceiling windows. There's also a gym and pool onsite, when you don't feel like hanging out on the beach (which is only a short walk away). It's located in a very beautiful part of Koh Phangan, close to lots of shops and some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The owner is very friendly and hospitable, and absolutely lovely! Would definitely recommend this hotel :)

Threw out our booking due to full moon party
Reviewed By MGelderWe booked a room here for a bargain price only to be told two days before that the owner told our booking agent that had overbooked. I was immediately suspicious and checked on other sites, only to find they had over three rooms available but all for eight times as much. It cost me £140 in phone calls to our agent to resolve, one solution was the agent had been told by owner we could have a room if they paid 6 tines what we had paid additional.... I declined on principle....and ended up booking another hotel .....only to turn up their and find they had over booked by over a 100 people! Ended up booking back here for 8 tines the original price.....moral of story is if you get a bargain price room on full moon night be wary as it would appear he who pays most wins........accommodation when finally in here was clean, basic, poor wi fi.....reception staff helpful....just money greedy unmoral owner

Bug infested and long walk up steep hills
Reviewed By ollieojjStayed for 2 nights, it’s quite hard to find, our taxi dropped us of a fair distance away, the walk there is down an dark path with steep hills, room seemed clean when we first walked in, then noticed the bed was covered in insects, and there were lizards on most walls. Also lack of air con was a killer in 35 degree heat. On the plus side, the view from our room and balcony with a hammock was lovely.

Reviewed By newyorkfrequentvisitFantastic warm welcome from the team. Could not do more to make the stay smooth. Clean modern fantastic houses nothing to fault whatsoever in terms of hospitality and the room. Small downside can be the internet is prone to cutting in and out but not a huge problem.
