Knysna stands out on South Africa's famed Garden Route thanks to the sandstone cliffs that dramatically separate its tranquil lagoon from the pounding surf of the Indian Ocean. It's also home to the country's largest indigenous forest. Hop aboard a ferry for a ride through the scenic highlights. The Millwood Mines at Jubilee Creek, site of a major gold rush in 1885, provide a picturesque spot for a picnic. Be sure to try some local oysters during the renowned annual festival.

Lovely room for 3 in a beautiful guest house (photos don’t do it justice). Worked really well for self catering. Great location and easy travel to activities. Super hosts. Thank you for a fabulous stay :)

This place is a gem. A great setting, Secure parking. Lovely room. Lovely area to sit outside and relax, watching the birds. You are able to Braai/BBQ. The owners are a lovely couple. We had breakfast as well, a great cooked breakfast. Iwould go back again.

Only improvement is bigger towels and the room was a little small for the double bed. Otherwise excellent value for money. Breakfasts were excellent with staff willing to assist with every request. Just a pity we couldn't stay longer. Excellent views of Knysna

Our stay was excellent. A real hidden gem in nature and still close to the beach and Knysna. A perfect romantic getaway! We really enjoyed the scenery, the outdoor kitchen and swimming pool. Thank you Katja and Axel for being good hosts and letting us enjoy your nice bungalow and grounds.

Sedgefield is well known for tourism attractions. We are in close proximity to a magnitude of attractions and leisure activities. We are walking distance from the Swartvlei Lake Lagoon which offers water sports, angling and bird watching par excellence, should you so wish to explore. Starting a new day with a properly served breakfast together with love and the necessary attention to detail, puts
Shirlane is a very Pleasant hostess. The guesthouse is very clean. The rooms and especially the beds are a pleasure. Linen changed twice a week. The way I like it. Safe & secure. It is a bit hidden away. But a real gem in the making.

Very nice/clean, centrally located unit. It would be good if the complex sign post was more visible on the main road. The unit doesn't have wifi ...usually a given these days... We would have liked the unit to be stocked with some basic condiments especially for guests who are flying in ... a nespresso would also have been a nice touch.
