La Pizza Pazza is an Italian family restaurant situated in the suburb of Kloof, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. It is loved by the locals and offers diners a traditional Italian Trattoria experience. The warm, welcoming atmosphere perfectly compliments the meals served - a wonderful dining experience! Not just the leading wood fire pizza and pasta restaurant in the area, they also offer a wide range of specials, including, amongst others, the legendary Pepper-crusted aged fillet served on mushroom risotto, melt in the mouth slow roasted lamb shanks and succulent whole baby chicken topped with prawns or calamari. Take outs are available and bookings are recommended, but walk-ins are warmly received.
We are regulars at La Pizza Pazza, we usually go on a Wednesday for some reason.
My husband loves the fact that they serve gluten free pizza as an option. My favourite is the ...Melanzane which is a brinjal, tomato and cheese lasagne type of dish (without the lasagne). I ALWAYS order this as it is so good.
We like the complimentary focaccia as well, it is really delicious.
The kids always take small toys along, as they don’t have a kids play area. Luckily they give the kids pizza dough to play with and bake it for them as well (to take home).
Will return again soon - probably next Wednesday evening :-D

We popped in for a quick coffee and milk shake and ended up staying much longer than we had planned.
The coffee and milkshake were both great, but the grounds of this establishment are something rally special! he Gardens are stunning with lots of interesting little pathways that you can explore for hours and not go down the same one twice.
The kids play area on the lawn is also great, especially since you can see it from the restaurant (if you are seated on the deck)

Having been once before, heard new owners so we were worried but nothing to be worried about. Had a fantastic and special anniversary dinner. The signature pork belly dish (yes with crackling) was sublime and don't even get me started on the bread and butter pudding... yummy. A lovely restaurant for that special occasion.

Excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude. To be brushed off by the manager when enquiring about the delay in serving our mains was downright embarrassing. If you do not understand customer service, you are welcome to contact me for some lessons! Having a problem is not the problem, solving the problem is what distinguishes you from the rest.
We have always had good food and service here, but for some reason we were ignored for 45 min after finishing our starters. (Mains was ordered with the starters.)We left after another 30 minutes of waiting for our mains, after bringing it to the managers attention and still being ignored. No feedback, no apology. I was terribly embarrassed as I've told my guests that this is the best place in town. Mains was obviously enjoyed elsewhere.

Ahoy Me Mateys! Join us at John Dory's - the best seafood restaurant that the whole family can enjoy! Our menu has an ocean of choices for all our seafood lovers! From fresh hand-rolled sushi to tempura battered fish & chips. Shiver your timbers! Our catch of the day, prawns, calamari and fresh oysters are a reason to abandon ship and come ashore! Our kids' menu has a variety of yummy meals for our young mateys too and we also have a cool kids' play area with boatloads of fun activities for little sailors! What are you waiting for? Dock your boat at John Dory's in for arrr-mazing food and service.
Both other restaurants in the same Centre were fully booked, so we decided to give John Dory's a try as we have not visited in a couple months.
We had calamari and prawn bean curd for starters. The calamari strips inconsistent sizes which resulted in some being overcooked, some perfectly cooked and some under cooked. The prawn bean curd sushi was missing the avo in the filling that was stated on the menu - when I asked my waitress about this, I received a blank stare in return. I was also not served any ginger, wasabi, soya sauce or chop sticks with my sushi and had to request these specially.
The for mains, we had steak and veg and the king prawn special with chips. The steak was a ice cut and was cooked well. The king prawns were unfortunately overcooked and rubbery. The lemony sauce that was served with the prawns was very tasty.
The children's pizza was as you would expect from any other restaurant that buys them frozen and cooks it in an electric oven.
Our waitress was not attentive to our table at all and even though we asked more than once, we never received an ice bucket for our wine the entire time we were there. I don't know if maybe the restaurant didn't have any though as we were brought glasses of ice to put into the wine a number of times?
After this visit, I now realise why the other restaurants in the same Centre were fully booked with people waiting for tables, while John Dorys only had a handful of customers and plenty open tables.

A family based mediterranean restaurant with an emphasis on good quality food value for money and an overall dining experience. Catering for all tastes we do a wide array of dishes from seafood to grills we also cater for children with a kiddies menu
For top class food and service, look no further than this restaurant. It's been some time since we visited Olive and Oil, and once again, we were not disappointed. We took friends who had owned their own restaurant, and they were extremely impressed with the friendly service and excellent food. Our waiter, Des, was very attentive. All the dishes ordered were outstanding. I always groan when my husband orders steak medium well, as he usually has to send it back because it is still "bleeding". However, his sirloin was grilled to perfection.

We love the atmosphere of the Bellevue café, and would go there more often if they had a children’s play area/room. The food is very good- we both had the Thai vegetable dish.
We’ve been there for breakfast as well, and then I enjoyed avo on toast...my favourite. We will return (when the kids are visiting grandma). :)

Oscar's, packed again this morning but little wonder with such good service value and food. Breakfast stop after a morning cycle Service even though we took the last table was fast polite and efficient. With a full breakfast and coffee for R50. I walked away well satisfied.
Well done to the Management and Team.

Mozambik has undergone a revamp, taking away the drinks serving bar to provide more tables on the raised section, and modernising with large picture windows.
The service is excellent and credit must go to our waitor, Tinashe, who was friendly and super efficient. We introduced ourselves and he addressed us, by name, whenever he came to see if we needed anything. The food was outstanding, as usual.

I often go to Lupa for lunch or dinners, and it remains one of my favourite restaurants. The service is always great and the food is outstanding. I can recommend the peri peri wood fired chicken with extra sauce and zucchini fries. World class!!
