Klang has always been for either bak kut teh or seafood. If you want something different, the Peng Heong Hakka Paikut Restaurant is the best bet.
How to go? Just head towards the Klang town mosque. It is located at a corner shop facing the mosque.
The restaurant has plenty of choices but the fried pork chop is definitely a "must have". Service is prompt even though it is crowded. Prices are reasonable.

This is a classic case of social media influence
This place used to to give you big la la and cooked well.
nowadays is popular because of social media. Went there yesterday (July 1, 2017).
Fourteen of us. My sis went there to wait at 5:30pm. we arrived at 7pm. Food arrived at 8pm!!!!
We order the so called famous dishes: Xiong Tong La La, Chiu Pai Noodle, Oat Mantis Prawn, Ham Yee Fa Lam Poh, Belacan Kangkung, Tit Pan Tauhu and yau mal.
La La are small nowadays but xiong tong is good.
Oat are too sweet for the mantis prawn. Noodle tasteless and oily. The rest you can find much better elsewhere.
you see 90% are young people and from our of town, obviously come here using waze after r3ading it social media.
Price is not that cheap. RM 235 considering the food We ordered or common food.
Don't bother to queue.

To enjoy this place, you must come at less busy times. Otherwise you will have to deal with traffic, double parking, waiting for tables and crowds hovering while you eat.
Luckily I came when it was less busy. They were one of the few bah kut teh places that actually got my instructions for lean meat and no bones correct . While I would have preferred a thicker broth, the soup was quite aromatic with big portions of ingredients. Considering the crowds, service was fast and prices were reasonable.

Mom's love is in memory of a son. The proprietor's.
As expected, home cooked food is the best. Breakfast time, go for their apom-delicious.
Most of their fare are prepared buffet style and you get all the typical curries and whatnots but IMHO it is less heavy than the usual fare. I know it gets pretty crowded at breakfast.

I have been going to Tetra House of Briyani for many years, ever since they opened up for business. I have never been disappointed, good food, fairly reasonably priced.

Unlike most cafes in Klang, Coffee Ink is rather quiet even during weekends. This makes an ideal place for those who wanna study or have a meeting. Their coffee are good, and they have some specialties such as The Otha Mocha and White Lady. Give this place a try if you want some place quiet to unwind

An authentic coffee time at this old fashioned and reputed cup of coffee and traditional toast with butter & Jam.
It is economical but a priceless experience while in Malaysia..This coffee shop is just in front of Klang KTM station.
Great taste & a great experience!

There is ample parking and the decor is pleasant enough. Service is ok but I thought it strange that an establishment like this would have no wifi. As many recommended the cendol, I tried it. The gula Melaka was nice but the contents were rather unexceptional. The Pai Tee was well-presented but were a little plain-tasting. The ikan bilis had just the right crispiness but could be less spicy. Price is moderate. I will be back as I think they have potential to do better.
