Barcode recently opened restaurant opened in Kerpe Hotel, and is run by the former manager of Vandenis, which he used to do incredibly well, and he has not changed. The surroundings are light and very pleasant, with a great outside terrace, which also offers shelter from the elements. Seating comfortable, tables large. Staff are attentive and multilingual (I heard Lithuanian, English, Russian being spoken). The food selection is modest but well thought out, is of excellent quality and well priced. So far as starters we have tried the Bruschette and octopus which were excellent. For mains we have had the steak, salmon and the ribs. All of these were very well crafted, and for me the ribs are the best personally. Be prepared to be full if you have those!! The deserts, especially the Creme Brulee and the cheesecake were just right. We have also tried the breakfasts which are reasonably priced, good portions and tasty, I especially like the vegetable omelette with a side of smoked salmon. Also has a modest sized but quality wine list, don't expect Premier Cru but some pretty good drinking wines at reasonable prices.Quality throughout seems to be the keywords here ! Thoroughly recommend it.

After years finally a great place to go in Palanga. Been there during my summer time off approx three times a week. Food is offering everything what I expect from local, fresh and surprising dishes (all what you think you might get at the other new self called gourmet place, which is just a place to waste money)Service is great, friendly and recognizing you with every visit. Looking Forward to my next visit to Palanga
